Migration guide for configuration files 5.15 to 5.60

EIO, migration from 5.1x to 5.6x

File header The file header shall be changed from EIO:CFG_1.0:5:0:: to EIO:CFG1.0:5:60:: or the system
will reject the file.
DeviceNet Lean DeviceNet Lean is no longer supported. All DeviceNet Lean configuration entries shall be
removed. Units configured on the DeviceNet Lean bus can be configured as the corresponding
DeviceNet unit types and moved to the DeviceNet Bus.
DeviceNet Only one bus instance, Single, is supported. Dual and Quad are no longer supported.
The attibute DN_MasterAddress is renamed to DN_Address.
The units DSQC 350A, DSQC 350B, DSQC 352A, and DSQC 352B are no longer supported and
configurations shall be removed.
PROFIBUS The new PROFIBUS board is only a master. Internal slave is only supported using fieldbus
adapter.
EtherNet/IP EtherNet/IP on LAN port should be moved to WAN port, else LAN3 port should be used.
EN_ConfigData has changed from an array into multiple strings of zero padded hexadecimal
byte values. Attribute names are appended with a two digit number starting with
EN_ConfigData00.
EN_ConfigData 1,2,3,4,15,0 is migrated to EN_ConfigData00 “01 02 03 04 0F 00”. Each
string holds a maximum of 16 configuration bytes.
PROFINET PROFINET M/S CP1616 is not supported and shall be removed.
PROFINET_SW on LAN port should be moved to WAN port, else LAN3 port should be used.
The PROFINET_SW bus should be renamed to Profinet1.
The attribute PN_IPAddress is renamed to PN_Address.
The attribute PN_AutoConfig is replaced by AutoConfig, and the values are remapped as
follows:
