Writing homework can be a daunting task, especially when it comes to a topic as complex and

significant as World War 1. As a teacher, you want to ensure that your students are engaged and
learning, but also that the homework is manageable and appropriate for their age.

That's why we have compiled a list of WW1 homework ideas specifically designed for KS2 students.
These ideas will help your students to understand the causes and effects of the war, as well as the
experiences of soldiers and civilians during this time.

1. Create a Timeline
Ask your students to create a timeline of the events leading up to WW1 and the major events that
occurred during the war. This will help them to understand the sequence of events and the
significance of each event.

2. Write a Diary Entry

Have your students imagine that they are a soldier or civilian during WW1 and ask them to write a
diary entry describing their experiences. This will help them to empathize with the people who lived
through this time period and understand the impact of the war on individuals.

3. Research a Battle
Assign each student a specific battle from WW1 and ask them to research and present their findings
to the class. This will not only deepen their understanding of the war, but also improve their research
and presentation skills.

4. Design a Propaganda Poster

Propaganda played a significant role in WW1, so have your students design their own propaganda
posters. This will allow them to explore the different techniques used to influence public opinion
during the war.

5. Interview a Family Member

If possible, have your students interview a family member who lived through WW1. This will give
them a personal connection to the war and help them understand its impact on their own family
history.

These are just a few ideas to get your students started on their WW1 homework. However, we
understand that as a teacher, you have a lot on your plate and may not have the time to come up with
creative homework ideas for every lesson.

That's why we recommend using ⇒ StudyHub.vip ⇔ for all your homework needs. Our team of
experienced writers can provide custom-written homework assignments on a variety of topics,
including WW1. This will save you time and ensure that your students are getting high-quality,
