Place the infant on their back, gently lift infant’s hands and move them left and right like a wave.

Keep repeating if the object is soft, hard, bumpy, rough or


smooth and every time repeat the colour of the object as purple

Encourage infants to remove the rings from the stack and try to place it back

Provide a plastic bowl or drum or steel bowls for each child. Tap one of the bowls or drums,
saying “1, 2, 3” to the beat. Encourage infants to drum and repeat the pattern. As the bowls and
drums make different sounds, extend the activity by alternating them or passing them around
