Temporary Worker Engagement Policy for Weekends and Special Events

1. Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to engage temporary workers during weekends and special events to
promote sales and support our operational needs. This policy outlines the terms of engagement,
remuneration, and the potential pathway for temporary workers to become full-time employees based
on performance and availability.
2. Scope:
This policy applies to all temporary workers engaged by the company for weekend and special event
assignments across all locations.
3. Engagement Criteria:
Temporary workers will be engaged primarily for weekends and special events based on the
company's sales and operational requirements.
The selection of temporary workers will be based on their availability, skills, and suitability for the
specific roles required.
4. Process of Selection :
The Concerned Store Manager will raise the formal request to induct the Temporary worker , this
request has to be approved by Area Manager and HRBP , Once the request is approved Store Manager
will screen the CV’s at local level and share the recommendation of engagement to HRBP

4. Remuneration:
Temporary workers will be paid a remuneration of INR 300 per day.
The working hours will be 9 hours per day, including breaks.
5. Performance Evaluation:
Temporary workers' performance will be evaluated based on their punctuality, reliability, sales
performance, customer service skills, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Regular feedback sessions will be conducted to provide guidance and support to temporary workers to
enhance their performance.
6. Absorption as Full-Time Employees:
Temporary workers who demonstrate exceptional performance and meet the company's standards may
be considered for absorption as full-time employees.
The decision to absorb temporary workers as full-time employees will be based on their performance,
availability of vacant positions at the location, and the company's staffing requirements.
Absorption will be subject to a performance review after 6 months of continuous engagement as a
temporary worker.
7. Benefits and Entitlements:
Temporary workers will not be eligible for company-provided benefits such as medical insurance,
paid leave, and other employee benefits unless they are absorbed as full-time employees.

8. Code of Conduct:
Temporary workers are expected to adhere to the company's code of conduct, policies, and procedures
during their engagement.
Any misconduct, violation of company policies, or performance issues may lead to termination of the
engagement.
9. Termination:
The company reserves the right to terminate the engagement of temporary workers at any time due to
performance issues, misconduct, or changes in operational requirements.
10. Review and Amendments:
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with legal
requirements.
Amendments to this policy may be made by the company as deemed necessary, and all temporary
workers will be notified of any changes.
11. Compliance:
All temporary workers are required to comply with this policy and any other applicable company
policies and procedures.
