Business Policies

The Business Policies are the rules, principles and guidelines developed by the organization
which will be used to manage its actions. These rules define the limits within every decision that
will be made. The Company’s objectives, goals and plans are all included in this section. With the
help these policies, Estu. Co. guarantees that the roles and responsibilities of every member of the
organization will be fulfilled and will not damage the reputation of the company, in able to produce
great results and lead to the company’s success in the long-run.

A. Personal Business
All employees should be responsible to behave appropriately at work. Employees are
refrained from using any gadget that will distract them from doing their jobs, yet are permitted to
access their personal accounts during working hours only if there are no customers or during their
breaks. Estu. Co. created rules for the betterment of every employee as well as the customers and
any disobedience will result to warnings and deduction of salary, depending on how many times
an individual will violate the said rules.

B. Holidays
All business operations will still continue even during holidays because the mall which the
business is located will be open during holidays. Employees will be given a chance to file for a
leave, however, employees who will work during the holidays will be given double pay for that
specific day.

C. Insurance Welfare of the Employees


Every employee has the right to register and get his/her own SSS, PhilHealth or Pag-IBIG
on their own decision. If any accidents happen inside the premises of the business, Estu. Co. will
provide medical assistance for the said employee. If not, the business will not be held accountable
for the accident.

D. Benefits
Employees will be given a chance to file a leave from work with a reasonable cause,
however, they must inform their co-workers and be responsible for their absence. Free meal will
also be provided for all employees.
E. Working Hours and Rest Periods
The employees will start working at 10:00AM after the mall opens ‘till 9:00PM when the
mall closes. They will be given a late lunch break for 1 hour at 12:30PM to 1:30PM and dinner at
6:00PM to 6:30PM.

F. Use of Business Equipment


Every business personnel must handle equipment with utmost care and use it based on its
proper function.

G. Administrative Policies
The management will set policies that will help the employees understand all the rules and
regulations of the company for them to comply.

H. Termination
Every employee who will violate any business policy stated by the organization will be
given different levels of penalty depending on how severe the violation is. For minor offences, like
being late, warnings will be given to the said employee, after three warnings the employee will
undergo evaluation to check if he/she is still qualified to an employee of the company. For major
offences, like stealing products from the store, immediate termination from the job will be penalty
for the employee.

I. Safety
All personnel must use the equipment carefully to prevent certain accidents to occur. Estu.
Co. will be liable and will provide medical assistance to all accidents that will happen inside the
business premises.

J. Probationary Employee
New employees will be evaluated during his/her first week of working for the company. They will
be monitored for another week and after that, the management will decide if the employee’s
performance and abilities are really fitted for the job.
