bioactives as a frontier in the creation of cutting-edge treatments for neurodegenerative diseases,
this review opens the door for further investigation in this field.
Future Trends
The future of nano therapeutics for neurological disorders is marked by promising advancements poised
to revolutionize treatment paradigms. Precision medicine approaches tailored to individual patient
profiles, multimodal nanoparticles combining therapeutic and diagnostic functionalities, innovative
targeting strategies for precise drug delivery to the brain, and the integration of biomimetic and
gene-editing technologies represent key trends driving progress in this field. Additionally, the
development of implantable nano devices for real-time monitoring and on-demand therapy, coupled with
the utilization of bioinformatics and computational modeling tools for optimized nanoparticle design,
underscores the transformative potential of nano therapeutics in neurology. As more nano-based
therapies progress from preclinical research to clinical translation and regulatory approval, the future
holds immense promise for addressing unmet medical needs, improving treatment outcomes, and
enhancing the quality of life for patients with neurological disorders.
Conclusion
The search for efficient treatment solutions for neurodegenerative illnesses, which place a huge health burden on people worldwide, is still
underway. Due to their many modes of action and possible neuroprotective qualities, natural bioactives have become an attractive area of research.
The goal of this study was to provide an overview of the state of the science around the therapeutic potential of natural bioactives in treating
neurodegenerative diseases.
