The Origin of Life

Collaborative Learning: Activity No. 1

The question of the origin of life has

been a subject of profound reflection
both in the fields of science and
religion. Although these two
approaches to understanding the
beginnings of life often have different
explanations, each offers unique
insight into this enduring mystery.
Science, with its experimental
methods, seeks to unravel the
intricacies of the natural world and has
developed theories of biology to
explain the emergence of life from nonliving matter. On the other hand, religion, based on sacred
texts and religious traditions, offers the notion of a divine Creator responsible for breathing life
into the universe. In this exploration, we will delve deeper into the perspectives of science and
religion, comparing and contrasting their theories on the origin of life and recognizing that these
two areas of knowledge, although different, have contributed to a more complete understanding
of this era-old aspect. question.
