He named the land earth and the gathered waters. Seas. On the third day, God caused the earth to bring forth vegetation, plants, trees and flowers of every kind. Then God created the sun to rule the day, the moon to govern the night and the stars to adorn the sky. This marked the fourth day of creation. On the fifth day, God filled the seas with diverse marine life and he commanded the skies to be filled with birds of all kinds. On the sixth day, God created the land animals, beasts of the field, creatures of the earth and livestock. Finally, God created humanity, Adam and Eve in his own image, giving them Dominion over all creation.
