SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT IT IS BETTER FOR CHILDREN TO BEGIN LEARNING
FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT PRIMARY SCHOOL THAN SECONDARY SCHOOL. DO THE
ADVANTAGES OF THIS OUTWEIGH THE DISADVANTAGES? It is considered by some professionals that studying a new language at primary school is of paramount importance instead of learning it in secondary schools. This essay will explore how it offers a lot of chances to study that language effectively and easily when it decrease sense of own cultures and traditions. In my opinion, the benefits of learning a second language at primary schools outweight the drawbacks of this view. On the one hand, it is found that having the languages lessons at primary schools is more advantageous to children to jump at significant chance to practice and learn that language effectively. Since they are carefree and they have high capacity in their brains to grasp novel information fastly at that age, they learn another language very effective and easily. At first, children learn new simple vocabularies and sentence pattern. All that children learn at primary schools are planed carefully before teaching by professional teachers in order that they can make sure that children have such good language lesson. Owing to these factors, we have a chance to see that in this days and ages, most of the people who speak foreign language eloquently and fluently, more especially is the English, are the younger, not the old because they are well language taught, since when they are in primary school. On the other hand, learning a new language at the adolescence age is really a disadvantageous point due to the fact that it decreases the sense of their own culture and tradition. To be more specific, because when they learn other languages, they are drawn to various types of cultures and tradition. Therefore, they won't be able to pass down their heritage and beliefs for the next generation. This can lead to a really bad result. In conclusion, although studying a foreign language at primary education instead of secondary one supplies a really good advantage, it provides considerable oppotunities to practice new language effectively. Hence, the possitive impacts of studying a second language at primary school curriculum outweigh the negative influence of it.
