ate my homework story from a student this year. I would love to win this and I think it would be
great for me to use in 5th grade (since I'm being moved this upcoming year). I could really use
something like this set to keep track of homework in my 3rd grade classroom. For older kids, ask
them to tell you about what they have been reading. Anyway, if students have turned in their
homework all quarter there's a big field trip (pool, bowling alley, movie, etc.) I really want to add

motivate students. I plan on making a display for students to all start in the club. They are required
to get it signed and return it to school the next day. I've been doing one since 2006 and it's a huge hit
every year. I love the idea off eating in the classroom as a reward. I teach a combination class of
third and fourth grade. I tried Homeworkopoly before and just found it was too hard to keep up
with. This involvement doesn't have to be purely as an overseer either. Reply Delete Replies Reply

homework situation. Each month, my students who stay in the club get to eat their lunch in the room

club this year. I have been doing Homeworkopoly but the management of that can become
cumbersome. Also, I wish you could see the past tasks on phone as well as computer (personally I
use my phone much more). Click on it. It will display Satchel One in your Emulator Software. By
fifth grade I am trying to teach my students that it is their responsibility to do their homework.
Not every kid gets one every month, but I choose two or three at random each month to receive one.
Kids get a choice to play outside, watch a movie, or participate in an art activity. It has happened to

just calling it a club will make my 4th graders want to do it. As a second grade teacher, I was afraid
that parents would revolt, but many were happy to help their child and were more aware what we
were doing in our classroom. Don't they ask you about why they are still on it, if they see their name.

doesn't come back the next day, the student must take an extra from my extra box to do during
recess or at home depending on the assignment. It's pretty easy to contact your teachers and ask
them questions. Since launching Show My Homework in 2011, we’ve been proud to call 1 in 3 UK
secondary schools our partners, and we still are. We share lunchroom duty and are free every third
week so I could easily work this reward into my schedule. I have had the most success by sending
home a packet and study guide every Friday with my newsletter and having it due the following

every night for 20 minutes and would either have a quick worksheet to review what we had learned
or something as simple as practicing math facts for 10 minutes. I think that this tool would really help

the books they love. I really struggled on how to handle it with my kids this year since many of them
did not want to turn it in. This will be my 7th year of teaching but will be my first year in 3rd, I'm
buying this packet whether I win or not. I think I'm going to put them in the hallway this coming
year so everyone can share in our celebration. For the unconscientious student, there are far fewer
ways to justify a homework no show. I'm moving back down to second grade after teaching upper
grades the past two years, and I'd love to use this to help build responsibility early. I've been seeing
so many homework clubs lately and I can't wait to jump on the bandwagon for next year's class. I got
the dog ate my homework story from a student this year. I have my students fill out a missing
homework slip when they don't bring in an assignment. I always see a drop off in the spring when
soccer starts, so maybe this will keep them going.
