P2 through the middle of the MR. Once inside, pull to close the ring, and
with the remaining yarn, secure it by stitching it to Pl.
Beard
----•----

For this piece, we'll work with white acrylic yarn:

Start by cutting the main strip of the beard to about 18 cm. Then cut 12
equal strips of 20 cm each, which you will knot to the main strip (Photo 1).

Once everything is assembled, use a comb to open and separate the

strands of yarn for a better finish (Photo 2). When you are satisfied with
the result, trim the sides with scissors (Photo 3).

Sew the beard around the gnome's nose, from the ends of the main strip.

Detail: With gold thread, embroider straight lines ever !J 2 sc, between
rounds 23 and 2Lt.

Finall!J , with white !Jarn, make a pompom (Photo Lt). If !J OU use acr !J lic !Jarn,
!J OU can brush the strands for a better finish. When done, attach it to the
center of the MR of the hat (Photo 7).

Once !J OU have finished, place the hat on the gnome; I have left it so that it
can be removed, but if !J OU want to secure it, make stitches on both sides
using red !Jarn, and then hide the remaining !J arn tail.
