ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Eligibility conditions for appointment of faculty in all disciplines excluding, Arts, Engineering and Law
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
Experience
15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in
a National or International Organization.
Professor (BS-21)
OR
10-years Post-Ph.D teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the
relevant field in a National or International Organization.
Minimum Number of Publications
The applicant must have 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
Experience
10-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in
a National or International Organization.
Associate Professor (BS-20)
OR
5-years Post-Ph.D teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the
relevant field in a National or International Organization.
Minimum Number of Publications
The applicant must have 10 research publications with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized Journals.
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D in relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
Experience
Assistant Professor (BS-19)
No experience required.
Minimum Number of Publications
Nil
Minimum Qualification
First Class MS/M.Phil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution
with no 3rd division in the academic career.
Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding Institutions
Lecturer (BS-18) provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz PhD or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in the entire academic career.

Minimum Qualification
First professional degree (4 Years minimum, First Division) from HEC recognized University/Institution with no third division in the academic
career.

Eligibility Criteria for appointment of faculty in Law Discipline

Minimum Qualification
LL.B Degree (First Class) from an HEC recognized University/ Institutions with no 3rd division in the academic career.

Nil
OR
LL.B degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution having 5 years standing as Advocate of High Court (Criteria settled by Supreme Court
in Constitution Petition No. 134/2012 dated 13.12.2018).
*Note: For Allied Health Sciences preference will be given to those who have basic degree in Medical Lab Technology/Pathology Lab Sciences/DMLS and for Physical Therapy
preference will be given to those who have basic degree in Physical Therapy/DPT.

 GENERAL INFORMATION / INSTRUCTIONS
 Only short listed candidates will be called for Test / Interview.
 The prescribed application form can be downloaded from University of Sargodha website: www.su.edu.pk.
 Candidates for all positions are required to fill the application form and submit along with complete C.V and attested copies of testimonials.
 Two most recent passport size photographs should be affixed on each application.
 Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate applications with necessary documents, complete in all respects. However, in case of more than one
selection he/she will be bound to withdraw from other departments.
 Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC.
 Applications must be accompanied with original bank deposit slip/University Challan Form of Rs. 1000/- in case of Professor & Associate Professor and Rs. 500/- in case
of others, as processing fee (non-refundable) to be deposited under Head of Account “Collection” in HBL A/C No. 00427991777803, University of Sargodha.
 Candidates already in service of a Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by closing date; otherwise
their applications shall not be entertained.
 Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained; even posted before the closing date.
 Incomplete applications shall also not be entertained.
 If required, the faculty members of University of Sargodha working on Regular/Contract basis may also apply through proper channel for part-time extra teaching classes
against above said posts. However, they need not deposit the processing fee prescribed for the post(s).
 In case any information provided by the candidate in his/her application form is found to be incorrect or false at any stage, he/she will be disqualified and action will be
taken under the Rules.
 This arrangement would be for one semester only and may be continued subject to performance and requirements for next semester for maximum one
academic year. However, same may be discontinued at any time on the request of concerned Chairperson.
 The payment shall be made on per hour basis at the rates approved by the University, as per rules.
 The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the post(s) according to the need of the departments and reserves the rights not to fill/withdraw any
post/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
 Hiring will be made strictly in accordance with the University of Sargodha SOPs/Regulations of Part-Time Extra teaching, approved and amended from time to
time.
 Closing date for submission of applications is 30.08.2023.
