contact data in the Non-residents
Records Database (RNI)
This document explains the additional contact data about you that we ant to record, and with whom we wish to
share this information. It also explains why. You can choose to withhold your consent. This will have no negative
consequences for you. If you do grant your consent, it will remain valid as long as you do not withdraw that consent,
and at the latest until 1 January 2024.

I grant my consent for the registration and use of my additional contact data by the Ministry of the Interior
and Kingdom Relations. They may contact me:
• In the event of a disaster or crisis, for example the corona pandemic.
• To inform me of my rights and obligations during my residency in the Netherlands.
• For questions about my registration in the RNI.

I grant consent for the sharing of my additional contact data with the Ministry of Social Affairs and
Employment, in particular the SZW Inspectorate.
 he SZW Inspectorate can assist you in ensuring health and safety at work, and equal treatment. They may contact you

if they receive reports or complaints about your employer.
I grant this consent subject to the following conditions:
• My consent applies only to the organisations and situations referred to above.
• My data may be stored up to 1 January 2024. After that date they will be erased.
• I have the right to withdraw or amend my consent at any moment. Following withdrawal of my consent, my data will
be erased.
• I have the right to ask at any time what my data have been used for.
• I have the right to have my data rectified, at any time.
• I have the right to have my data erased, at any time.

Appendix

I mportant information about the registration and sharing of your additional contact data if you
grant consent. The Non-residents Records Database (RNI) is part of the Ministry of the Interior
and Kingdom Relations (BZK). BZK employs a data protection officer. This officer is responsible
for internal supervision of privacy legislation. You can contact the data protection officer via
postbusfg@minbzk.nl.

 our additional contact data may be shared with the Inspectie Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid
Y
(SZW Inspectorate). The SZW Inspectorate is authorised to process your additional contact data
in its own information system and may only make use of your contact data for the specified
situations. Moreover, the SZW Inspectorate is obliged to comply with existing legislation and
regulations, for example in respect of data protection and privacy. The Ministry of Social Affairs
and Employment (SZW) employs a data protection officer. This officer is responsible for internal
supervision of privacy legislation within the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW)
including the SZW Inspectorate. You can contact the data protection officer via FG@minSZW.nl.

The Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) is responsible for

external supervision of compliance with privacy legislation. You have the right to submit a
complaint to the Dutch DPA, about this registration. Submit your complaint via
www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl or by calling 088 1805 250.


Your contact data will be used confidentially, in accordance wit the privacy statement of the
BZK Ministry (see www.rijksoverheid.nl/ministeries/ministerie-van-binnenlandse-zaken-en-
