Community Health Doctor Child immunisations

St Paul’s Services • support from a team of professionals with

Description of services
- psychiatry,
St Paul’s provides specialist services for autistic
children aged 4 to 18. The services are available to - psychology,
families living in the three community care areas of - social work,
Dublin North Central, Dublin North West and Dublin
North. - speech and language therapy,
- play therapy,
The services provided by St Paul’s include:
- nursing and childcare, and
• St Paul’s Special School, a special national school
- teaching (including special needs assistance).
for children from 4 -18 years of age;
• St Paul’s Hospital, which provides residential services Referrals
and therapy for children up to 18 years of age;
Referrals come from services including the Mater
• a respite service, which is offered separately to CAMHS, Temple Street Hospital, Beechpark Services
children aged 5 to 12 (junior respite) and aged and so on. The children have been diagnosed before
13 to 18 (senior respite) and is available also to being referred. The referral process includes a
children with autism who attend other services in meeting with the clinical admissions team.
