CCC/CIC/NBT Installation Guide

To avoid open the dashboard again, if any problems during installation, please make photo /
video for the wire connections (optical cable/AUX cable/ LVDS etc), we need the photo /video to verify
and confirm the connection you made is correct or not.

Step 1: Move optical fiber cable (if any)


If the original power cable have optic fiber cable (2 pcs green color cable), please move the optical cable
to Android power cable (in the same spot in Quadlock),so that the optic cable can continue to work as before.

Notice: (1) Move it to the same spot in new power cable. (2)Insert it in correct direction (optical plug's has it's direction)
if you not move it, or connect it in wrong direction, it will have problems (no audio /lost part of OEM functions)
Step 2: Connect AUX cable.

A: The sound of Android screen work through original B: After chosen “AUX” in original car menu, but the
“AUX“, thus, choose “AUX” in original menu and add the Android screen still no sound, you should connect the AUX
volume +, so the android screen with sound output. Cable to “AUX-IN” port in the armrest box

(A) Check the optic fiber cable connection (step 1) ?


(B) Choose “AUX” & AUX Cable connected (step 2)?
(C) When use the Carplay to test the Audio, the phoneCAN NOT
connected to original Bluetooth! If not, that might no sound!!
The Carplay not allow to connect Bluetooth at the same time!!
Turn off the original Bluetooth, or “forget this device” on the phone

Step 3: Car Display setting (show original menu correctly).


To show original menu correctly in the android screen, it need to choose the " car type" inHo
factory setup menu,
Factory password is : 070305. Choose "Display"> "Car type" base on the iDrive version & the size of display.

Q: Why that is “ NO Siginal “ on Android Screen?

(A) Check the LVDS connection ( see (4) in wire-diagram) ? LVDS bad connection?
(B) Check if have moved the optical fiber cable (step 1)?
(C) Does the original radio/CD work ? it is turn on ?
(D) Check if the “ CAN protocol “ (in factory setup menu) you made is correct?
If it still not work, go to “settings”> “system info”, make a photo and send us the software version.
