Information for VEGA-DTM

The provided setup requires one of the following Windows installation

- Windows 10 (32/64Bit)
- Windows 10 LTSC(2019) (64 bit)
- Windows 11
- Windows Server 2019

- Note for Windows XP/Vista/Windows7/Windows8/8.1

Windows versions XP, Vista, Windows7, Windows8/8.1 are no longer supported.

- Note for use with Windows 10/Server 2019

The provided setup requires an installation of .NET framework 2.0 or .NET framework
3.5.
Both frameworks are not included within a standard Windows 10 installation. Users
have to install the .NET framework 3.5
themselves by using the "Feature-Dialog" from the operating system.
The installation of the framework requires an internet access or the original
installation medium of the operating system.

- Note for use with Remote-I/O systems

The default length of HART-frames for this VEGA-DTM has been increased to 128
Bytes. Some Remote-I/O systems might have
problems with large HART-frames, so if the VEGA-DTM isn�t able to establish a
connection to a field device, it reduces the length
of the communicated HART-frames automatically.
If the problem still exists, users may change the default length of HART-frames
With the VEGA-DTM Tool "VEGA DTM-Configurator".

-Note for use with Windows Server 2016

The VEGA-DTM library is tested and released for operation in Windows Server 2016.
Support of server features is limited to the FDT 1.2.1 specification features.
