appeared in the Entry Test (LAT) conducted by HEC. The
applicants can register themselves with HEC for Law Admission
Test (LAT) at their official website www.hec.gov.pk

WHO CAN APPLY:

Instructions for Undergraduate Program:
A person holding HSSC Part-I or equivalent passed result with at least 2nd division may apply for admission to Undergraduate Program
subject to the condition that;

 After provisional admission on selection, the students will deposit fee or dues in the University account within the stipulated
time period as provided by the relevant Departments/Institutes/Centers/Colleges etc.

 After provisional admission on selection and depositing fee or dues in the University account, the students securing at least
2nd division in Intermediate Examination (as a whole), should submit his/her Intermediate Part-II or equivalent (pass) result
card, in the examination held earliest after COVID-19 within stipulated time period in the relevant Departments.

Instructions for M.A., M.Sc. or equivalent Program:

 The admission in M.A. and M.Sc. or equivalent programs will provisionally be made on the basis of the result of B.A./B.Sc.
Part-I Annual or Part-I Supply 2019 Examination. (Only those candidates who have passed in first year exam are eligible).

 The admission, shall however be provisional, subject to the final clearance of the candidate in Part-II Examination, latest by
the Annual Year, 2020 (maximum), failing to which the admission shall stand as cancelled.

 After provisional admission and depositing fee or dues in the University account, the students shall be required to submit his/
her B.A., B.Sc. Part-II (pass) result card Annual 2020 within stipulated time period in the relevant Departments, in case of
failure in 2020 examination provisional admission shall be automatically cancelled.

 In case any candidate who is found at any time to have obtained admission by making any miss-statement in the
Admission Forms or by willful concealment of any material fact, (particularly about marks, division, previous
admission to the Department/Institute/Center/College or employment, expulsion, conviction etc., and fails to fulfill
the eligibility criteria as laid down by the University Admission Rules 2020-21, his/her admission shall stand as
cancelled and all fees or other dues paid by him/her shall be forfeited.

Eligibility for BS or Equivalent Regular Programs:

 The candidates holding F.A./F.Sc.. or equivalent qualification with at least 2nd division and age not more than 24 years are eligible
for admission in the relevant programs. 3rd division holder candidate is not eligible for admission.

Eligibility for MA/M.Sc or Equivalent (Regular Program):

 The candidates holding B.A/B.Sc (14-Years of Education) or equivalent qualification with at least 2nd Division and age not more than
26 years are eligible for admission. The age limit of candidates applying for Masters Program in College of Art & Design should not
be more than 28 years. 3rd division holder candidate is not eligible for admission. No student shall be admitted to a second or
subsequent Master’s degree or Law Courses and Undergraduate i.e. BS or equivalent (Regular and Self-supporting Program) in the
University Departments.
 50% seats are reserved for graduates from Punjab University and rest of 50% shall be filled on open merit basis.

Eligibility for BS/M.A., M.Sc. or Equivalent Self Supporting (Afternoon/Replica/Evening) Programs

 Eligibility and basic criteria for admission in Self Supporting (Afternoon/Replica/Evening) programs of BS/M.A., M.Sc. or equivalent
will be the same as for morning programs. There is no age limit or session preference for Self Supporting (Afternoon/Replica/Evening)
programs. Hostel accommodation facility shall not be provided to the students admitted under Self Supporting
(Afternoon/Replica/Evening) Programs. Incomplete online form will not be entertained.

Basic Criteria of Late Sessions/Years for BS/M.A.,M.Sc. or equivalent Programs:

 2 marks will be deducted from percent academic marks for each late session to a maximum of previous five (5) sessions/years for
male and female students.
 Admission be made by the University Departments/Institutes/Centres/Colleges as per order of the Session/Year of preference
mentioned below:-
 1st Late Session 1st Annual , 2019 & 2nd Annual, 2018
 2nd Late Session 1st Annual , 2018 & 2nd Annual, 2017
 3rd Late Session 1st Annual , 2017 & 2nd Annual, 2016
 4th Late Session 1st Annual , 2016 & 2nd Annual, 2015
 5th Late Session 1st Annual , 2015 & 2nd Annual, 2014
Admissions on Sports Seat:
 1% seats have been reserved for admission on Sports basis. Only those students/candidates are eligible to apply for admission on
sports basis who have participated in Sports Trials and their names have been recommended by Sports Based Admission
Committee, headed by Director Sports. No other candidates will be considered for admission on sports basis.

Admission on Reserved Seats other than Sports Seats:

 Student’s nominee from Directorate of Colleges & Higher Education, Balochistan, Quetta. Applications will not be acceptable directly
from the candidates of Balochistan Province.
 Student’s nominee from Azad Kashmir(to be nominated by the respective Nomination Board and recommended by the Federal
Govt.).
 Student’s nominee from Gilgit-Baltistan (to be nominated by respective Nomination Board and recommended by the Federal Govt.).
 Student’s nominee from KPK (FATA) (to be nominated by the respective Nomination Board of KPK).
 Student’s nominee from Sindh (to be nominated by the respective Nomination Board).
 Children of Martyred (Shuhada) of Armed Forces or Security Forces to be nominated by the relevant quarters.

Admission for Foreign and Overseas Students

 Applications from foreign candidates should be routed through his/her home country’s embassy and Pakistan Mission Abroad office
(in case of overseas Pakistani). These applications should reach in the office of the Chairman Admission Committee, Centre for
Undergraduate Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

How to Apply Online:

 Online Admission Form is available for Undergraduate and M.A.,M.Sc. or equivalent programs at http//admissions.pu.edu.pk or
http//111.68.103.22/admissions.
 The portal for online submission will remain open from Tuesday, 07-07-2020 to Monday, 27-07-2020 till (9:00 pm) and all the
candidates are required to fill in & submit this form online till the given time.
 Those candidates, who want to apply for admission against reserved seats, need to choose respective reserved quota category(s)
in online form.

 The challan form amounting Rs.700/- may be deposited by the candidates in the following Habib Bank Limited (HBL) or United
Bank Limited(UBL) accounts-

 Subject eligibility criteria of individual disciplines will be available online while filling the admission form and on the University website
as well. The same will also be provided (through e-mail/ telephone only) by the concerned Department/Institute/ Centre/ College.
 All the applicants shall apply separately on morning, evening, replica, self- supporting and reserved quota seats for each discipline.
No application submitted once in a category shall be converted/considered in any other category/discipline.

 Incomplete application form in any respect will not be entertained.

 Gujranwala and Jhelum Campuses will follow the same schedule as that of Main Campus, Punjab University.
 Due to limited accommodation facility, therefore the University is not bound to provide hostel accommodation to each and every admitted
student. Limited accommodation shall be allotted on merit basis. Transport & Accommodation facility is not available for the
students at Gujranwala/ Jhelum Campuses.
 No application will be received in Admission office or any Department/Centre/Institute/College by hand or by post/courier. After the closing
date of online portal for submission of forms, no online facility will be available in any case.
 No call letter/phone call shall be made separately for selection; applicants are advised to visit Punjab University/Departmental website
frequently.
 All University Rules and Regulations shall be applicable and subject to change owing to the current COVID-19 crises/Government policy.
