DIALUX EVO

INTRODUCTION
• WHAT IS DIALUX Evo
DIALUX Evo is the
professional planning tool
that provides us with all the
necessary functions for
lighting design.
• START MODE
When we open DIALUX Evo,
we will first see the start
mode as shown in picture.
INTRODUCTION
• The left side of the start mode provides different entry options for the
planning of our project i.e. CREATE NEW PROJECT.
• Choosing EXTERIOR AND BUILDINGG DESIGN, we can start our project from
the scratch and use all the functions in the DIALUX.
• If we want to speed up the process, we can also directly start with the option
IMPORT PLAN of IFC.
• If our project consist of only one room, then it may be useful to start with
ROOM PLANNING. Here we can quickly and easily construct a rectangle room
or a free room shape.
• For the normative road planning you are offered a completely different user
interface STREET LIGHTING.
• SIMPLE INDOOR planning, the user interface here is limited to only few
functions.
INTRODUCTION
• In the center, we will see the last used projects under EDIT EXISTING
PROJECTS.
• This tab also provide us flexibility to open an existing DIALUX project, by
using option LOAD PROJECTS.
• We can right click on the project to remove it from the list.
• Also with a right click we can clear the entire history.
INTRODUCTION
• On the right side , we will find links to a lot of useful information under
OTHER TOPICS.
• A very important option here is SELECT YOUR MANUFACTURER. Here you can
go directly to the overview of all the DIALUX partners and their Luminaire
Catalogues.
• We can always find direct access to the manufacturer list here at the top.
IMPORTANT SETTINGS

GENERAL SETTINGS
• Click on File, go to SETTINGS, then GENERAL SETTINGS.

STANDARDS SETTINGS
• Click on File, go to SETTINGS, then STANDARDS.
