SUMMARY: This research studies how social connectedness and self-

esteem relates to each other. It is stated here that high school students

can connect to their fellow students through the use of communication.

It is stated that communication has an effect to the social

connectedness and self-esteem of the student. The study also stated

that frequent communication can boost the students social

connectedness and self-esteem.

NAME: Balce, Rachel Ann B.

EXPERIENCES: I woke up early and readied myself to go to St.

Catherine College of Valenzuela’s library. Only me and my other

groupmate is going this time because my other groupmates have

something to do. I arrived a few minutes earlier than the agreed time. I

waited a little before my other groupmate arrived. After we met we went

down the stairs and into our schools library to browse the bookshelves.

We greeted the librarian and wrote on the attendance log at the entrance

of the library. After that we looked for related literatures on the

bookshelves and fortunately found one that is connected to our study.

After reading it and documenting our visit we wrote once again on the

attendance log, greeted the librarian goodbye and went out of the

library.

NAME: Bilangel, John Carlo Z.

EXPERIENCES: The third library we visited was the St. Cath library,

where I didn't find anything I could connect to our topic.

RESEARCH GROUP JOURNEY

When we got to the library i browsed the bookshelf that contains the

past researches of the previous students of our school in hopes of

finding a related literature to our study while my groupmate browsed the

bookshelf that contains books about communication. Because we

cannot find a literature related to podcast we instead looked for

literatures related to communication. We found a research made by

previous students of our school and read it. We concluded that the

literature we found is connected to our research and made a summary

of it. I worked on the summary of the research while my other

groupmate made the documentation.
