To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write a letter of recommendation for an outstanding student, Pauline Anne
Ditona. Pauline was a very dedicated student in Spanish I class and she continues to excel in my current
Spanish II class. Pauline is humble and caring, she displays a mature, and respectful attitude toward
teacher. Pauline always strives to complete her work close to perfection and in a timely manner. She is
one of the top best students in my class.

Pauline’s goal in life is to become a nurse. She is passionate about assisting others in maintaining good
health. She states to feel confident that helping her patients in a near future will make her feel productive
and self-satisfied. She has initiated the path of employment responsibility and demonstrated
determination by successfully managing part-time employment while attending school through distance
learning in these months of pandemic.

Pauline enjoys playing her guitar and is appreciative of her Tagalog-English bilingualism skills. She has
been involved in school activities and clubs that have helped her develop interpersonal skills, creativity,
leadership and commitment such as; Filipino Maharlika Club as the vice-president, Boys’ & Girls’ Club
of Carson, and LGBT Club.

Her great educational efforts are noted through the completion of eight Honors and four Advanced
Placement classes since her Freshman year. Her accomplishments are represented by maintaining a
G.P.A. of 3.7 throughout her years in high school.

In addition to her educational successes, Pauline has assisted her school and community through
performing various tasks as a volunteer. Pauline, recited a poem in the celebration for The Filipino
American History month, and placed 2nd and 3rd place as a cadet in a drill meet for MCJROTC at Carson
High School. In the community, she participated in the Larry Itliong Day parade at Veterans Park. As a
member of the Filipino Youth in Action Organization, she performed in Filipino cultural dances and made
arts and crafts sent to the Filipinas to help low-income families. In addition, she wrote empathy and
encouragement letters to people in the Filipinas with mental/emotional challenges.

It is my honor to recommend Pauline Anne Ditona and assist her in reaching her goals. Should you need
any more information in regards to Pauline or have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth González M.A.
