Unravelling the Effectiveness of Teachers Strategies Among Senior High

School Teachers of PHINMA Rizal College of Laguna

Statement of the Problem

The main purpose of this study is to determine what teaching strategies that teachers used
for effective learning and performance of students.
More especially, seeks to answer the following questions:

1.What are the different teaching strategies a Senior High School Teacher used for effective
teaching?

2.Why Educators need effective teaching strategies towards students?

3.How do strategies on teaching affect the performance of a student?

Background of the study

Education is a vital tool for us to strive for economic development. Provides stability in life,
and it's something that no one can ever take away from you. It is the key to achieving
success. Educators are the ones who transmit information and knowledge to the
learners, they are responsible for it.

According to Hammond, (2000). Teaching and learning process is essential for the
development of individuals and societies. A teacher must know what teaching is since his
concept of teaching guides his behaviour. His understanding of teaching serves as a guide to
all activities he and the learner will engage in.

In other words, what patterns of behaviour are adapted are determined by an individual's
concept of his role. In the same way one’s concept of teaching impacts on the performance of
a teacher based

According to Singh, (2015). Effective teaching in schools requires flexibility, energy and
commitment. Successful teaching also requires that teachers are able to address learner's
needs and understand the variations in learner's styles and approaches.
