Kitchen Schedule of Cleaning Activities

Schedule Activities
1. Sweep the floor.

2. Mop the floor.


Daily 3. Wipe the dining table with a wet and clean
towel or dishcloth before and after eating.

4. Wash the sink and empty the dishwasher


and dish drainer.

5. Wash, wipe, clean, and sanitize kitchen


tools, utensils, kitchen floor, stove, and
other food-contact surfaces after use and at
the end of the day.

6. Clean and sanitize small appliances.

7. Clean, check, and organize the refrigerator


Weekly to see if there are foods or ingredients that
are already expired or spoiled.

8. Clean and disinfect thoroughly the sink and


the faucet to avoid being dirty and not
contaminate the running water.

9. Replace dish towels with clean ones. Also,


sanitize the sponges at a high temperature
to kill bacteria.

10. Clean or wipe the outside of the kitchen


appliances and equipment with clean wet
towels to remove the dust like the oven,
refrigerator, etc.

11. Deep Clean oven and stove.

12. Take an inventory check of the pantry to


Monthly know what’s already outdated or expired.

13. Clean, sanitize, and disinfect thoroughly the


trash and recycling bins to avoid the spread
of microorganisms.

14. Clean and disinfect the storage of the


kitchen tools, utensils, equipment, and
appliances like the dish rack, dishwasher,
drawers, cabinets, etc.

15. Clean and disinfect thoroughly the dish


drainer or drainage.
