Week 2

|Warp Up 1/16/24|

What is your grade (9,10,11,12) and what would you like to do with the rest of your time in
highschool.
I’m in 11th grade, and for the rest of highschool I plan to just try to best to get all A’s this year
and making sure not to take AP Calculus next year. I also want to make a game that might
become popular within the school but time will tell.

What are your plans after high school?

I plan to go to college and try to get a major in software engineering or try to become a surgeon.
There both two different fields but those are the two things I have my mind set on after
highschool. After that maybe trying to marry by the age of 30 and having my own house. I don’t
want to get married while in college because it would make things a little hard on me and my
signifigate other.

Are you a social person? If you are not what keeps you from being social with others?

I would say I’m more of a person who is non-social and likes to keep to himself. But I do not
have any problem conversing with any person if I have to. I like to call it being an introverted
extrovert.

If cooking is women’s work, why do men barbeque?
I personally don’t see cooking as womens work but as something that a lot of men prefer not to
do. I personaly love cooking and baking and do it quite often. Though this question seems to be
asking if cooking is something only for women when why do men barbeque. And if I was to
answer that I would say that barbequing meat is easy to do but cooking some mac’n’cheese and
sweet potato pie is something most men would prefer to let the women do.

Is your personality different with your family, than your friends? Why or why not?

Honestly not really. I might say some things differently around my friends and not
around my family but I think I have the same personality when I’m around my family and
around my friends. Even though at times I try to act different but I just fail at that.

life?

I feel like the message was inside the question asked, not letting other peoples beliefs
and views of you define who you are. You can apply it by not listening to others

In what way can having multiple identities benefit or hurt you?
Having more than one Idenity can benefit you, being seen as just one like being seening
as black, can be not true to what you are. We humans will always have more than one
identity.

What was something you discovered about yourself and others?
That’s I could do art and that I get passions for something I can get addicted to it pretty
quick.

not understand yet?
One question that I have is can things like emotions and mindsets be seen as indenitys. I seem
them as thinks people think about when they see you so can those be counted since those are
things people might think about.

What do you think was the cause of the fighting in the girls bathroom. Do you
beelive that the reason was enough for a student to lose their life?
I belief that fighting was mainly caused by the hate of them indentifying as a girl and
going into the girls restroom. No I don’t think so.

The country of Ghana in Africa is close to passing a law which makes it a crime to
identify as LGBT. How do you feel about this? Do you belive your country should
have the power of your identity.
I feel like a county should have the power to control who’s idenitys they want in their
country but not that persons Idenity. For example, to my knowledge in North Korea they
worship their government. And even though how they control it is questionable that
country says who’s Identiys they want represented and not represented. America is
known as the place where all people can represent any type of identity they have. So
Ghana is mostly a religious county. So I think they have the right to say what Identiys
they want represented in their country or not.

What do you think this is representing?: I think it represents someone who passed
away in the past and honoring their death?
What questions do you have?: Who was tis person and why were they drawn?

Notes: She was a man at birth, from new jersey, born in 1945. Her P in her middle
name stands for pay in no mind. She was the maker of S.T.A.R.

I believe you could, a lot of people are able to show solidarity to people they don’t like and
disagree with out of respect for them.

I cleaned my clothes .

Yes I know and knew a few people
How did you feel when you found out?
A little sad, since I kind of liked them but found out they weren't a girl.
How do you think it affected them when they came out?
Maybe their parents or friends who knew them as something else before were different.

The little cousin is talking about how he has been feeling for other people, and telling
them how the people he was attracted to were other guys.
How does the older cousin react?
He says it’s fine and it’s a normal thing. But he should be careful who he comes out to.
Do you believe this is how families should support each other?
I believe depending on the family they should give some type of support depending on
their beliefs. But what they should not do is cut that person off just because they have a
different view of life than they do.

I feel like the break was enough time off, I mainly stayed in the house all day, but the
break honestly felt like a month, I took time to reflect on a lot of things too.

What is one thing you think you could do to help your parents understand you
more? What is one thing they could do to help you understand them more?
Start communicating with them more. They can also start communicating things to us
more. Our parents care for us, but a lot of time they don´t know the best way of
communicating when it´s as simple as that for both sides.
