My application for your Account Manager role comes after much searching for relevant companies

to apply to. Given the Remote base of this, along with my desire to move to the Edinburgh after a
few years back in Glasgow, I feel like this is a great opportunity to work for a large organisation, and
allow myself the personal flexibility along with the ability to travel for work when required.

My previous role was as a Senior Account Manager at Softcat with 3 years experience, often around
Microsoft, SaaS technologies and cloud capabilities, as well as on premise solutions. I have
experience in helping enterprise customers realise their on premise limitations and introducing
cloud compute, storage, networking, virtual desktop and more solutions. My customer base was
primarily SMB and Mid Market, though I found success in targeting enterprise level customers, and
provided the consultation and licencing to a 2500 user charity to migrate over to Azure from their
existing on premise. I would be happy to provide references from the previous IT Manager (who has
now left), and the lead technological consultant (who is now the IT Manager).

I have significant experience in outbound sales, using Linkedin Sales Nav, cold calling, vendor
relationships and industry knowledge to identify prospective customers, players within key accounts
and where they sit. I then qualified this primarily using the RAMPACT sales methodology.

As a Senior Account Manager I successfully mentored several rookies through their first few years at
Softcat, and was a founding member of a new sales team alongside the Team Leader and his Deputy.
I am happy to provide references from both of them, alongside other members of Senior
Management to attest to my abilities.
