SCOPE of WORKS:
Structural Steel
1. Prepare Shop drawings of the proposed Structural Steel for review and approval by the
Architect and Structural Engineer – Allow for 1 site visit to check measurements and 1
revision of the drawings after comments by the consultants
2. Allow for Supply and install of the following Members
Ground Floor/Lower Roof
1. 4 x SC1(U) (89 x 89 x 5 SHS) – approx. 3 meters long. Allow for paint finish
2. 2 x SC1(U) (89 x 89 x 5 SHS) – approx. 4.5 meters long. Allow for paint finish
3. RB1 – 250UB25.7
 approx. 3 meters long with cleat and connection details to adjacent
columns. Allow for paint finish. (Grid B)
 approx. 5.4 meters long with cleat and connection details to adjacent
column. Allow for paint finish. (Grid B)
 approx. 4 meters long with cleat and connection details to adjacent
columns. Allow for galvanised finish (Grid 4)
4. RB2 – 200UB22.3 – approx. 5.2 meters long with cleat and connection details to
adjacent columns. Allow for paint finish (Grid D)
Roof
5. 3 x SC2(O) (75 x 75 x 6 SHS) – approx. 0.6 meters long. Between RB1 and
RB2/RB3’s. Allow for paint finish (Grid B)
6. RB1 – 250UB25.7
 approx. 4.8 meters long with crank, cleats and connection details to
adjacent columns and RB2 beams. Allow for paint finish. (Grid D)
 approx. 5.2 meters long with cleat and connection details to adjacent
columns and RB3 beams. Allow for paint finish. (Grid D)

7. RB2 – 200UB22.3 –
 2 X approx. 6 meters long with cleat and connection details to adjacent
columns and RB1 beam. Allow for paint finish (Grids 5-6)
8. RB3 – 150UB18–
 2 X approx. 4 meters long with cleat and connection details to adjacent
columns and RB1 beam. Allow for paint finish (Either side of Grid 5)
3. Allow for the supply and install of all bolts, anchors and fixings
4. Allow for all site welding of connections to RB1 beam on Grid D
5. Allow for all grouts and dry packing of columns
6. Allow for 1 coat of primer with touch up upon completion of installation
Do not:
Allow for footings – these will be provided by Blueprint Projects

Site amenities and condition:


All services to the house (water, gas and power) will be disconnected (the Distribution Board will
be live)
A flushing toilet will be provided on site
Running water (minimum 1 hose tap) will be provided
Single phase power will be available from a GPO at the Electrical Distribution Board
There is no security on site, all tools, equipment and materials are left on site at trades risk

WHS:
Suitable eye protection must be worn when using electric powered cutting and grinding tools
Suitable respiratory protection must be worn when using electric powered cutting and grinding
tools
Suitable footwear must be worn when on site
All electrical equipment is to be recently tested/tagged and in good working order
All ladders and access platforms are to be suitably rated and in good working order

Contract Administration:
Blueprint Projects Pty undertakes 2 payment runs per month, 1 in the middle of the month and 1
at the end of the month.

Invoices for completed works are to be submitted on either the 14th or the 28th of each Month, with
invoices to be processed 10 Business days later from each date
Deposit payments are to a maximum of 10% and are only by prior agreement
All variations are to be approved by the Builder prior to works being undertaken
All invoices are to be issued to ops@blueprintbuilders.com.au
