The Telstra Foundation has launched its Youth Advisory Council, powered by PROJECT ROCKIT. We
want to harness the vibrant diversity, insightful perspectives, and boundless creativity of young people.
We are pleased your child has applied to be considered for a role on the Council.
This form outlines the initial terms and conditions for your child's involvement in the Youth Advisory
Council. The Council is a representative group of young Australians who come together regularly and
help steer the direction of Telstra Foundation’s endeavors. Their role will include developing ideas,
providing critical feedback on projects, and crafting content that resonates with and supports their peers.
At this stage, we are selecting young people for the 2024 year and we seek to have an interview with
your child over video conference.

FOUNDATION YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL selection process, and if successful ongoing participation
in the the program.
I agree and understand this could involve any of the following:
1) Meetings and discussions conducted with the other Council members via Zoom.
2) Creative work related to the project for which a formal contract will be developed.
3) Responding with feedback to different materials and content
4) Participation in a form that meets the needs of the Council members, and does not impact on other
aspects of their life such as school, work or family time.
5) Participants are free to leave the program at any time; however, we would appreciate your
participation in the full process.
6) Communication with participants may occur during and after school hours.
