It never fails when your child needs a glue stick you can't find one anywhere. You can put some
papers that need some urgent action in one drawer and others with less urgent matters. I have only
one daughter in school right now, but my younger daughter starts next year and what a wonderful
idea to have everything right there that you could need in one box. Well done! Reply Delete Replies

punch cards for your students, click here to check them out. Click here to check out this amazing

theme of my big toolbox. As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. I
worked over the summer to revamp my system and decided to upload the finished product to my

Our students return this Wednesday so I guess it's a good thing that I can FINALLY say that my

only have my students turn in Homework on Fridays, so I only check it once a week. All I do, once
all homework is turned in, I grab the basket and just scan through each students homework to make
sure it's complete and put it aside and go on to the next students homework. It is a little tricky at
first, but super fun and easy. You can learn more about how this teacher labels her crate (and where

10:07 PM I love your creativity. I then labeled it using some leftover letters I had in my craft bin.
One of the biggest projects to undertake was creating my Wall of Fame in my classroom. You can
also use these inspirational quotes as a form of decoration for your classroom’s blank walls. I use to
have my students go up by groups and turn in homework to me, then I would check to see if anyone
did not turn in homework so they could serve lunch detention. Enjoy the rest of your summer

putting up a battery-operated push lights to let them know if they’re allowed to go to the washroom.
This has been my only classroom and I've been in it for the last six years. This means that every time
you visit this website you will need to enable or disable cookies again. I tried to do that this summer,
but it didn't happen. My construction paper is sorted and labeled by color.
If kids have questions, they know who else they can ask for help instead of you. Here are just a few
more peeks to see from around my classroom. I put in there some graph paper, some college ruled
paper, some raw hazelnuts, raisins, and jelly beans (have to have something fun). The most it has
taken me to go through all of the paperwork is 5 minutes, usually less. I tried to do that this summer,
but it didn't happen. It makes me panic to think about ever having to switch classrooms. My room is
by far one of the biggest on our campus because it's a part of the old band room. Stay organized and
keep your desk tidy with a simple bin that helps you easily keep track of what you need to get done.
After you pick their favorite quote, ask them to stand in front of the class and tell everyone why they
like the quote. She blogs at Deal Seeking Mom where she shares the latest grocery store deals,
coupons and freebies and at Unsophisticook where you can find her tried and true recipes. LOL
Then, I took some cute little stick on letters I had and stuck them on there. Everything looks
beautiful and amazingly organized. Melissa Reply Delete Replies ccc August 10, 2013 at 6:03 PM Hi
Melissa. After completing the Wall of Fame, I started to create some extra bulletin board space in my
classroom and hallway using Azure Blue paper and multi-colored chevron duct tape. Oh and let me
mention, when you actually find the glue stick it has shriveled to practically nothing. I just covered
them in duck tape to make them coordinate. I love how you decorated the box with bulletin board
trim. All of the items are housed in an inexpensive Sterilite tote that I picked up at Target. Instead,
you just want to keep it simple and have a nice big turn-in bin. This is the schedule the kids and I
followed two years ago. At least you get to see the finished, amazingly organized office!:). If you
added a top flap add a magnet or some velcro so it will stay down. I would also have them justify
their ratings on a post it note or self assessment slip. To get it to stick to the lid I just turned the notes
over to the last page and smeared a glue stick all over the back, then stuck it onto the lid. It's taken so
much longer than I had anticipated and it seemed like each time I completed a task that two more
popped up. I worked over the summer to revamp my system and decided to upload the finished
product to my store. Or maybe they need markers, scissors, tape, notebook paper, the list could go on
and on. I use to have my students go up by groups and turn in homework to me, then I would check
to see if anyone did not turn in homework so they could serve lunch detention. Stephanie Delete

Stephanie!:) It looks fabulous. My participation is voluntary and opinions, as always are my own.
The long paper is for longer notes, or making notes and then marking a page. It is probably one of my
favorite things that I instituted in my classroom last year. It really worked wonders to have my
students start thinking about how much they understood what we did that day in class. I filled the
box with standard homework supplies: scissors, tape, glue sticks, crayons, markers, pencils, notebook
paper, pencil sharpener, bookmarks, etc. I added the paperclip on the left just so the paper wouldn't
be hanging when the lid is closed. I even filled a tote bag to donate to a local teacher, watch for that
next week. Stephanie Delete Replies Reply Reply Unknown September 12, 2015 at 2:25 PM I
looked for the teacher toolbox on School Aids and can't find it. I teach in an open plan school but
somehow I have a wall. Usually the Wall of Wisdom only contains posters that I have bought from
our local school store, but this year thanks to Vistaprint I was able to create one of my own. You’ll
have a clutter-free desk and classroom in an instant. My construction paper is sorted and labeled by

strips again last year. Then, fold the bottom up and tape together with a coordinating tape (just so it

didn’t think of this sooner. I used a shoe box from a pair of shoes we had just bought my daughter.
This is one of the few times that something looks exactly like I pictured it in my mind. I'll check it
