Amelia, a shy 15 year old girl, had always been made fun of and was always mocked at due to her introverted behaviour. She never spoke openly to anybody, except another girl named Jane. Who however, was quite an extrovert. Based in North Carolina where the teenagers often go partying and are usually out with friends. Amelia was just not the kind, she would like to lie in her soft, spring bed all day and read a novel or study, she didn’t even have any interest in watching the television or going to the movies. The other students in her class never thought that she was so smart, because she always sat on the last bench, without even giving any answer. At one point she was even humiliated by the class, some of them were perpetually irritating. However, she wasn’t the best though she was a strong- willed person and that is why, she didn’t use any fraudulent methods. She had a dream one day and she began pursuing it relentlessly; she had a unique idea to make a 3D inkpen. Something like this can only be dreamt about, basically you can draw in air, it was equivalent to magic. In a month’s time she heard that her father had lost his job which was their only source of income. She and her family were going through a difficult period facing all the debts, if this continues like this then her family will come on the streets. Amelia, worked in a small laboratory set up at home with her assiduous effort and seemingly interminable effort. Burning the midnight oil, she finally succeeded to make her product with sedulous care and she did it with unflagging determination and it was the right time to reveal her mind blowing innovation. She first told her parents about it and them confided in Jane, they were all impressed by this work of hers. She was quite lucky that Jane’s father was a business man, so he immediately release the product in the market and it became an instant success. Amelia was given the credit for this amazing invention. Amelia’s invention drew the attention of all stationary lovers and reporters gave her space on television and newspapers. Thus Amelia, a shy, introverted girl was no longer considered an under achiever. She became a celebrity in school and the people realised that one should not pass judgement on others.
