1. Where were you when you heard about the event?


I was at home in Mumbai when I first heard about the 26/11 attacks.
2. Who was with you when you heard about the event?
My husband and two children were with me. We were all at home that evening.
3. What were you doing when you heard about the event?
We were having dinner when we heard about the attacks. The news was on TV, and it was
shocking.
4. How did you find out about the event?
We initially heard about it from the breaking news on television. The reports were unfolding
rapidly, and it was surreal to grasp what was happening.
5. How did you feel when you heard about the event?
It was a mix of shock, fear, and disbelief. We couldn't fathom that such a horrifying attack
was taking place right in our city. The sense of vulnerability was overwhelming.
6. How important was this event in your life?
It was a significant event that left a lasting impact on me. It made me more aware of the
fragility of life and the need for heightened security measures. It also instilled a sense of
resilience in our community.
7. How often have you talked about this event?
Over the years, we've discussed it several times, especially during anniversaries or when the
topic of terrorism comes up in the news. It's a part of our shared memory as a family and as
Mumbai residents.
8. On a scale of 1 - 10, how confident are you that your memories are accurate?
I would say around an 8. While the details may fade slightly over time, the emotions and the
impact of that night remain vivid in my memory.
