T EXPOSITION
-In the small house of Chom-Nye located. It
has only three parts where her
parents, grandparents and siblings lived
together. At the young age Chom-Nye
was engaged with Pogi .He had a job at
the alehouse
 RISING
ACTION
Chom-Nye's mother went helplessly to a
soothsayer to ask again for another
favorable date for the weeding of Chom-Nye and
Pogi.
The wedding of Sunhaeng daughter Ho Sung Gu
of successfully celebrated by everyone in the
village
.
 CLIMAX
- One of Chom-Nye's chicken went into
the vegetable garden of Ho's home . That third
day at night as she could never endure her
anguish , she hears the scream of chicken so
she stole the chicken at Ho's house.
 FALLING ACTION
- Chom-Nye was frighten as she heard the
rough voice of Mr. Ho. She run fast and
fell, Mr. Ho throw him a stone . Her cut on
forehead apply with fermented soy - bean
to cure the wound which causes her to death
due to infection.
 RESOLUTION
-The witch perform the for her burial and
ceremony to talk the spirit of Chom-Nye .
Everything she had for her wedding was all
given to the witch and her family left
nothing but sadness.
 SUMMARY
The story revolves in the marriage of Chom-Nye and her
fiance Pogi. She was engaged to him not only because he is good
looking but he has a stable job in alehouse. At first
everything was smooth except for problem in the garmet
that the bride should use and for the perfect date to
celebrate the wedding . They delay the ceremony for five
months until they can find suitable garmet for the bride. So
when they have 2500 won Pogi immediately went to his
fiance and went to Seoul to buy the perfect garmet.
He purchases everything that is needed for the bride,he also
brought a mirror which Chom-Nye's mother and grandparents
complain. They thought that instead of the mirror he
must brought cotton clothes to make native stockings for her
bride. But Pogi rest assured the parents of Chom-Nye that
his aunt give him two chicken for his wedding in that case it will
solved the problem for stockings as the chicken will grow it will be
sold.
But another hitch in the wedding plan the date of the wedding
conflict the date of Mr. Ho's daughter. And also the
chicken which can solve the another problem is caught by Mr.
Ho. He tied the chicken but at third day as the chicken scream at
night Chom
-nye can't endure the anguish so she stole the chicken
that
night. She hear the rough voice of Mr. Ho causes her to run
fast and fell. Mr. Ho throw a stone at her. She went home having
cut on forehead bleeding. Her parents thought it was just a
scratch from chicken so the cut from her forehead apply with
fermented soybean.
The chicken drew it's last breath and died with final scream. It
causes delirium to Chom-Nye as she continue to talk to
chicken in the middle of the night. The next day she died which
makes the people to gossip that she died because of the
obsession to chicken's spirit. The witch perform the
ceremony to talk her spirit and her burial as well. The small
carton in the shelf was given to the witch everything she had
prepared for her wedding. At the end of the story Chom-
Nye's family left nothing but sadness.
