Cell phones should be banned in elementary schools. What is your opinion?

In recent years, cell phones are becoming increasingly popular. People hold
different opinions about it. In my opinion, everything in this universe has positive
and negative sides, depending on each person’s perspective. Some people think
that cell phones should be banned in elementary schools. I partly agree with this
idea because of the following reasons. On the one hand, we must also admit that
cell phones also has various negative aspects. In the first place, cell phones are the
main culprit that makes students distracted from studying because they spend too
much time on it. Furthermore, according to recent scientific research, people
spending too much time on cell phones can be harmful to people’s health because
artificial light emitted from electronic devices can cause near sightedness
insomnia, and even cancer. Last but not least, it will negatively affect people’s soft
skills because it limits their ability to communicate face-to-face.
On the other hand, we can’t deny that cell phones bring people many benefits. First
and foremost, in fact instead of spending hours going to specific places, nowadays
people can study, buy anything or contact others anywhere via cell phones.
Besides, cell phones are not only time – saving but also money – saving.
Additionally, cell phones help people handle study quickly and easily, thereby
minimizing errors and improving study efficiency. Lastly, when today’s modern
life has a lot of pressure, cell phones are a great way to help us relieve stress after
tiring hours of study and work because it can make us feel relaxed and funny.
In conclusion, all of the things I mentioned above are just my own opinions on this
matter. I think that each person will have a different assessment of the problem and
it will affect each person differently, depending on the particular case. As far as I
am concerned, I put more highlight on the idea that cell phones should be banned
in elementary schools. People should have further consideration on this issue.
