3. Store the consumables at designated area with proper ventilation.
4. Give labelling to the chemical containers with clear information about the contents and
associated hazards.
5. Ensure proper ventilation in enclosed spaces to prevent the build-up of dangerous gases.

6. Be cautious about exposure to harmful microorganisms present in wastewater.
7. Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent malfunctions and reduce the risk of
accidents.
8. Wash your hand frequently from clean water.
9. Wear PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, respiratory protection, and other gear as
necessary for specific tasks.
10. Ensure that all electrical systems and equipment are properly installed, maintained, and
grounded to prevent electrical hazards.
11. Prevent unauthorized access to the STP/ETP facilities.
12. Ensure the safety and security of the plant.
