SUIKODEN IV MISSABLE FAQ

I. [STARS OF DESTINY]
Nalkul and Champo
Nalkul and Champo become available after Lino En Kuldes entrusts you with the Golden Seal. Land on the Nay Harbour.
Cheipoo will want to visit the trade shop in Nay Kobold. Visit it and cross the suspension bridge. You will be pickpocketed.
Corner the thieves (Nalkul and Champo) near the Nay-Kobold Warehouse and play the cat and mouse minigame to get the golden
seal back. Both Nalkul and Champo become unavailable after Lino En Kuldes takes back the golden seal.
Ted
The fog ship side quest is available after you retake Razril and you have 70 stars of destiny or more. Simply enter the war room
and a cutscene should trigger. You will be able to take Lino En Kuldes, 1 other combatant, and a support character onto the Fog
Ship. I'd recommend you be on level 40 or so before attempting. [Note once you leave you cannot return until you start a new
game or reload]
Helmut
Helmut appears within the story of the game. Just choose to recruit him, rather than execute him.
Snowe
You cannot get Snowe without first gathering the other 107 Stars of Destiny. Alternating if you chose to execute him, he will not
join, since he's dead.
II. [TREASURE MAPS]
Treasure Map
In the kidnapper quest in Razril at the very beginning of the game, be sure to check the crates behind the kidnapped girl, during
the evening. You can get the treasure map before you decide to talk to Cheipoo to hear about the kidnapper, however. Just be sure
to get it!

After being exiled and you appear on a merchant ship with Colton and Troy, be sure to check the table in the cabin for the treasure
map.

After fighting soldiers under the orders of Lord Vingerhut and you regain control of the Hero, it should be the afternoon. Be sure
to grab this treasure map along with a Guardian Bracer from the chest on the roof of the hall of knights.
III. [OLD BOOKS]
Old Book Volume 4
After defeating the Moving Island to regain access to Middleport, and when you are done there, your next stop is Na-Nal. Once
you are thrown in jail, be sure to get the Old Book while you're there. It's you're only chance.
IV. [SPECIAL ARMOUR SETS]
Pirate King Vest
During the fog ship side quest to obtain Ted. Check the chest after you beat the ship guide. It's in the very back of the room.
Pirate King Bracers
Between the ship battles fought while retaking Obel. Be sure to get the pirate king bracers from the pirate standing next to Colton
before taking on the governor's privateer fleet.
Hero Shield
After fighting soldiers under the orders of Lord Vingerhut and you regain control of the Hero, it should be the afternoon. Be sure
to grab this treasure map from the chest on the roof of the hall of knights.
Guardian Bracer
After fighting soldiers under the orders of Lord Vingerhut and you regain control of the Hero, it should be the afternoon. Be sure
to grab the Guardian bracer along with a treasure map from the chest on the roof of the hall of knights.
V. [HAMMERS]
Silver Hammer
After fighting soldiers under the orders of Lord Vingerhut and you regain control of the Hero, it should be the afternoon. Be sure
to grab the Silver Hammer from the chest in front of the door leading towards the audience chamber.
