The future

Our future vision
Automation and artificial intelligence will transform the labor
landscape, displacing some jobs while creating new ones.
Digital skills will be essential in nearly every profession, necessitating
ongoing adaptation of the workforce.
Social tensions may arise due to inequality in access to technology and
the digital divide.
Our role as sociologist in the future

Sociologists look at how new tech stuff affects jobs and society,
telling us what's up with work and how people get along.
They find out what's new in jobs and tech, helping us know what
skills we'll need and how life might change.
Sociologists study how tech changes things for different people, like
who gets to use it and who gets left out of jobs.
They push for rules to make sure everyone can learn tech skills and
to make sure robots don't take all the jobs.
