Projects of note:
● Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) Video Project
Worked with a group to create a video ‘unpacking’ one of the Calls to Justice in the MMIWG
Final Report (2019) and proposed potential solutions all while providing public education. One
or more group members has not consented to it being made public, and thus it is not shared, but
was nevertheless a valuable research project in a less standard medium. It also offered an
opportunity to create an accessible video, with image descriptions and accurate closed captions.
● Feminist Art Field School Object Assignment
Undertook a methodology similar to Alison S. M. Kobayashi’s to understand, investigate and
interpret the past through an object. This assignment, and a more in-depth description of what it
contains can be found under the “Work Examples” tab.
● Archival Analysis Podcast
Utilised the Transgender Archives at the University of Victoria to create a podcast with a peer
around the theme of depathologizing transness. Gained experience in audio recording and
editing with the software Audacity.
● Manuscript Transcription
Transcribed and described a portion of a manuscript within the University of Victoria’s Special
Collection. This assignment, and a more in-depth description of what it contains can be found
under the “Work Examples” tab.
