Firstly, the author of this book has given some examples of people spending too much

time watching TV and engaging in social media on the phone. Secondly, responsibilities and
hectic schedule can demotivate us in watching TV for fun rather than reading the book. Thirdly,
some schools may have focused so much on projects, worksheets, and score tests due to which
kids may find reading unpleasant. To be a good reader, we must not read faster; we should read
smartly and that is what this book will be beneficial for us. To be a good reader, this book has ten
steps for mastering college reading skills. Reading and writing are closely related skills. Writing
practices will eventually improve our reading skills and help us to think more carefully. This
book has a lot of exercises that are designed to learn better skills.
Book has given some of quick four study tips that are required for being better students
that is class attendances and take a note, learning how to read instructor, test are based on ideas
provided in class by teacher and learning to be organized person. I have also learned about the
context clue that can give you sense of meaning even if I do not understand the vocabulary word
through four common types that is example, synonyms, antonyms and general sense of sentences
or passage. I have learned about the power of reading that is continuous reading will help me to
strengthen my reading habits, vocabulary use, spelling and reading speed. The reading will also
help in increasing chances of excellent job in future, and it also helps in connecting with people
sharing feeling, emotion, and thoughts.
Lastly, going on to page number seven is part that I have been trouble in understanding
for me. On part three: Relationship and combined-skilled test, there is question is like
mathematics that make me wonder how is mathematics and reading are corelated?
