I'm writing this email to apply for the position of sous chef at Summer Breeze Restaurant
that was advertised on Hoteljob website.
About my background, I graduated from the University of Finance and Marketing with a
bachelor’s degree in restaurant management. And then I continued studying culinary art
and I got an MBA degree. I also have experience working in kitchens for many years. I
started working as a kitchen assistant at a French fine dining restaurant and was
promoted to cook helper. I worked in this position for 4 years. I also worked in a
patisserie position at a Marriot Resort for 2 years. With the above experience, I believe I
would make a valuable addition to your team at Summer Breeze Restaurant.

will consider giving you a loan to expand your restaurant. However, I think you should
state that the reason you want to expand is because your restaurant doesn't have enough
room to accommodate more guests. I think the bank will approve you soon.

Position being applied for: Sous - chef.
Experience: Start working as a kitchen assistant at Italian fine dining restaurant and was
promoted to cook helper. She graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in culinary
management. She continued study to get the chef certifications and found employment as
a sous – chef in chophouse.
Recommendation: I think she would be suitable to join the staff at Hilton. She has good
experience and professional qualifications. This will be our executive chef.
