BECAUSE SPECIALIZATION CAN RESULT IN HIGHER PAY, WE SEEK TO EQUIP COLLEGE
GOING STUDENTS WITH A CDA CREDENTIAL PLUS COMPENSATION FOR COURSEWORK
SPECIFICALLY IN SPECIAL EDUCATION, PEDIATRIC NURSING, SOCIAL WORK, AND

UNDERREPRESENTED IN PRESCHOOL SETTINGS AND TO ENCOURAGE PURSUIT
OF ECE DEGREES, PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN PRESCHOOL SETTINGS AND
FAMILY CHILD CARE, AND HOME VISITING, WOULD SUPPORT MEETING THE
SUPPLY GAP OF THIS SECTOR OF FAMILIES, ESPECIALLY WHO SPEAK THE
FOREIGN LANGUAGES.

THE PROJECT
Teachers will sometimes complete IEPs and IFSP in collaboration
with other system supports. Therefore compensation for CDA
attainment for a variety of Education fields that may collaborate
later on comprehensive care for young children are necessary.
Additionally training on assessments in multiple languges is
necessary.

BY EARNING A CDA CREDENTIAL, A QUALIFIED COLLEGE STUDENT CAN WORK!
FAMILY CHILD CARE, OR HOME VISITING AND BILINGUAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS CAN
OFFER WORK PLACEMENT TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT ATTAINMENT OF COLLEGE
DEGREES AND A QUALIFIED INVESTED WORKFORCE IS ATTAINED.

THEY CAN THEN COMPLETE ASSESSMENTS IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT WHICH CAN LEAD
TO EARLY INTERVENTION, REFERRALS TO SPECIALTY CARE AND EDUCATION AND OTHER
SOCIAL SERVICES AND SUPPORTS.

CARE OF YOUNG CHILDREN.
