Introduction to the Indian Constitution

Continuous Assessment (Movie Review of Article 370)

"Article 370: Exploring a Complicated Constitution in a Movie"

"Article 370" is a movie that dives into the complex world of a controversial part of
the Indian Constitution called Article 370. It's directed by someone really talented
who guides us through the political, social, and legal sides of this tricky issue.

The film is set in the beautiful Kashmir Valley and tells many different stories that
help us understand why Article 370 is such a big deal. It shows us how it affects
people's lives and emotions.

One thing the movie does really well is explaining difficult legal ideas in a simple way
so that everyone can understand. It talks about how Article 370 affects who we are,
how much freedom we have, and what it means to be part of a country.

Article 370 of the Indian Constitution granted special autonomy to the region of
Jammu and Kashmir. It gave the state its own constitution, a separate flag, and
significant decision-making rights, except in matters of defence, foreign affairs,
finance, and communications, which remained under the jurisdiction of the Indian
government.
"Article 370" also reminds us why it's important to follow the rules of the
Constitution, especially when dealing with issues that involve different parts of a
country. It makes us think about power, how we're governed, and what democracy
means in a place with many different beliefs and cultures.

Overall, "Article 370" is a movie that not only entertains but also teaches us and
makes us think. It shows us how cinema can help us understand each other better, no
matter where we come from or what we believe.
