Project Work Format

1. Project work should be written in scientific English, font new times roman,
size12, spacing 1.5 and style consistent with that of the scientific/ technical
communication.
2. Title was given by the department of physics. Don’t introduce new
terminologies in titles.
3. Students must carefully proofread the paper to eliminate grammatical errors,
misspellings, don’t use the AI tools or copy paste from the different website.
4. Page no. should be given in the center of bottom page.
5. There must be abstract of no more than 1000 characters.( including spaces)
6. If you put the figure, full caption must be needed below the figure and
source must be declared.
7. If you put the table numbers, letters must be readable, table caption, number
should be given at the top of the table.
8. Reference style
We strongly recommended the APA format in Reference/ bibliography
(American Psychological Association)
i) Steps of cited papers
[cited number] Last name, First Initial. (Year, Month Day). Article
title. Magazine/Journal/Newspaper Title, Volume number (Issue number),
Page numbers of the entire article.

Example of one writer/Author :
[cited number] Authors' Last name, First Initial. (Year). Book title:
Subtitle. (Edition) [if other than the 1st]. Publisher.

Example of more than two author:


[cited number] Authors' Last name, First Initial & Authors' Last name,
First Initial. (Year). Book title: Subtitle. (Edition) [if other than the 1st].
Publisher.

[1] Adhikari, R., & Dhakal, P. (2080). Principle of physics: 3rd edition .
Asmita publication.

ii) Steps for cited Report


a. Author or authors. The surname is followed by first initials. The
Author may be a government or corporate entity.
b. Year
c. Title of report (In italics. Include the report number in brackets
where relevant)
d. Publisher information (if the author and the publisher are the same,
omit the publisher)
e. DOI or URL
f. The first line of each citation is left adjusted. Every subsequent line
is indented 5-7 spaces.
