Guidelines for writing project for the subject of Environmental Science Instructions to Author

Common instructions

Common instructions to be followed for text through out project: 1.Text should be written in double spaced typing in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 on A4size paper with margin of 2.5 cm. 2. Print should be taken only on one side of the paper (i.e. all right hand side pages of the report will have print)

3.References should be numbered in the sequence of their appearance in the text.


4. The list of references (double spaced) along with their citation number should be given at the end of the project.*

Sample

Sample*: Higher levels of Carbon monoxide result in an increased haematocrit (1) that is higher percentage of red blood cells. Similar observation was also seen amongst cigarette smokers (2).

Project :Sections

Project should be divided into following sections Introduction Experimental Results Conclusions References

Introduction

Background of the present title Purpose or reason of selecting theme Give brief reference to previous related work of other authors or other group members or Literature Survey (with reference to existing information)

Experimental

Experimental How the Experiment was Design? Parameters analyzed Where testing was done (Include names of organizations/institute where testing was actually carried out) Photograph of the setup/model /Design

Results and Discussions


Results and Discussions Analysis of work Insert graphs Illustrations Diagrams, Photographs wherever necessary. Graphs, Illustrations, Diagrams, Photographs should be labeled and numbered with suitable caption. They should be pasted or appear at suitable position in the text so that reader can see as they read the text.

Conclusions

Conclusions
What is the out coming of this work? Is it possible to scale up this project? What are possible limitations to your model/hypothesis etc. What is future scope of your work?
