To Whom It May Concern:

I met Heidy when she was just a young child as her mother has been cleaning my house since
before Heidy was born. When Heidy became a teenager, she would sometimes work alongside
her mother in her house cleaning business. Several years ago, Heidy asked me about what
kind of job I have because she knew I was in a professional role. I told her about the industry I
am in, and I questioned her as to why she was asking. She said she was interested in marketing
and learning more about how she could hopefully one day pursue a career in a business field.
We then spoke about college and her desire to continue her education which would lead to a
path of hopefully many opportunities. I was very impressed with the questions Heidy asked at
such a young age and that she was already showing an interest in furthering her education.

I would therefore like to recommend Heidy Chavez for a scholarship as she goes on to college
in the fall. I believe Heidy is an excellent candidate and will work hard to earn her degree so
that she may pursue her dreams. I wish Heidy much success and thank you for your
consideration.
