Types of parenting style

Since we were born in this world, we are belonging to our own family
forever. No matter who you are, you can’t deny this fact. As the saying
goes,” The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Like father, like son.”
Parents’ parenting style will have a great influence on their children’s
personality. It can be classified into four styles, authoritarian, authoritative,
permissive, and uninvolved.
Authoritarian parenting style, this kind of parents would provide the
children with love, supportive, and affectionate family. However, they have
a high and strict requirement for children, they hope their children can
achieve the goal they set. Also, they will talk and explain which things are
right or wrong, sometimes they even let the children involve in making
decisions, given the opportunities to learn independence, and all of them
will consistently follow the rules. Thus, the children who are growing up in
an authoritarian family usually are happy, energetic, confident, and
independent.
Authoritative parenting style, this kind of parents would be strict as the
style of the authoritarian’s parents, but they are lack of caring about
children, requiring children to obey the rules unconditionally, and praise
little to their children. When they are discussing things, the parent doesn’t
consider children’s thoughts and needs. As they grow up, parents always
play the role of commander. If the children don’t listen to their orders, they
will get into trouble. As a result, who are growing up in this parenting style
is often unhappy, anxious, passive, and deficient of confident or social
skills.
Uninvolved parenting style, this kind of parent doesn’t care about the
children’s growth. They don’t propose any requirements and standard
conduct. They are usually indifferent to their children. Even, they will try to
meet the child’s needs just they want to avoid trouble. Everything is based
on convenience as the highest principle. Owing to they are chronically
ignored by parents, the emotion is not normal, the personality would
toward the negative aspect. Even worse is that they will alienate people,
and people will not get easy to give them help. Hence, uninvolved parents
need to change another way, or children will have great frustration.
In conclusion, there are four ways to educate children. People all the first
time to be parents, although they will use the wrong way to educate you,
but I believed that all of the parents in the world are love their children,
despite they don’t use the way you like.
