TASK SHEET No 3.25 Cinnamon Bread-New
Performance Objective:
Supplies/Materials:
1 T yeast
1 t sugar
2 pcs egg yolks
½ cup water
½ cup fresh milk
3 T butter
¼ cup Sugar
1 t salt
3 cups AP flour
¼ cup butter (spread on dough)
1/3 cup Brown sugar
2 tsp Cinnamon
¼ cup nuts, tossed and chopped
1/3 cup raisin
½ cup maple syrup/honey
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup butter
Equipment : Oven
Steps/Procedure:
1. Combine in a bowl, the first 5 ingredients, cover and set aside for 5
minutes.
2. Combine butter, sugar, salt and all purpose flour. Knead and
placed in a greased bowl. Cover and let it rise for 30 minutes or
until it double in size.
3. Roll out dough in floured board.
4. Spread butter to dough and sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, nuts and
raisin. Roll the dough.
5. Cut to 1-1 1/2”. Place on prepared pans.
6. Let it rise for 30 minutes.
7. Bake at 350F pre-heated oven for 20 minutes.
8. Prepare syrup/honey in a rectangular pan. Sprinkle sugar and dot
butter on top of syrup. Set aside till ready to use.
