1. When in use, as long as the hot water tap is turned on, the hot water will flow out.
2. The minimum working water pressure is 0.025kgf/cm2.
3. The water heater has flameout protection and overheating protection, which is safe to use.
4. Energy saving: the heat exchanger and main burner adopt advanced technology to reduce gas
consumption and combustion noise.
5. If the water overheats, the geyser / water heater will shut down automatically.
6. Antifreeze protection: geysers / water heaters can drain stored water to avoid damage to
equipment in cold weather conditions or prolonged inactivity.
7. Water controller: cold and hot water supply can be adjusted.

First use
For initial use, please refer to the following procedures

Usage method

Be careful

In order to prevent scalding by hot water, do not pour water directly on your head and body
when using the shower head. You should confirm the hot water temperature by hand before
using it.
In order to prevent scalding by hot water, after using high-temperature hot water, because there
is still high-temperature hot water in the pipeline, when using the shower head again, be sure to
confirm the temperature of hot water by hand before using it. In order to prevent accidents,
please close the switch, inlet valve and gas valve when the water heater is not used for a long
time.

⚫Turn on the hot water tap and the hot water will flow out.
1: After the hot water is used up, turn off the hot water tap and the burner flame will go out
automatically.
2: When used again, just turn on the hot water tap and the hot water will flow out.

⚫The hot water temperature you adjust is the outlet temperature of the water heater. The
hot water temperature of the hot water tap may vary due to the length of the pipe or
seasonal changes. Therefore, please refer to the actual temperature of the hot water
flowing out of the hot water tap.

⚫When using in winter, for products with winter / summer mode, please select winter
mode, maximum fire and minimum water to ensure the output of high-temperature hot
water. For products without winter / summer mode, select maximum fire and minimum
water

⚫When using in summer, for products with winter / summer mode, please select summer
mode, minimum fire and maximum water to ensure the output of bottom temperature hot water.
For
products without winter / summer mode, select minimum fire and maximum water

⚫The burner may shut down when the hot water flow is less than 2 L / min.

Precautions for use

1. In winter, even in warm areas, water in water supply and outlet pipes or appliances may
freeze.

2. If it freezes, the water pipe may be damaged. Water leakage and appliance abnormality
(empty burning, etc.) are easy to occur.

3. The water pipe must be equipped with thermal insulation material to make it completely

insulated.

Description of flue gas temperature control protection

Disconnect when the flue gas temperature is greater than 75 ℃

1 、During normal operation of the product, in case of poor smoke exhaust, backflow air and
blocked flue, the flue gas cannot be discharged through the flue pipe, and the flue gas will be
discharged reversely through the flue pipe. At this time, the flue gas will be discharged to the
flue gas temperature control. When the flue gas temperature is greater than 75 ℃ , the

needs to wait for more than 5 minutes (or temperature reduction and temperature control reset)
to restart the product, (close the inlet / outlet valve, and then open the inlet / outlet valve again)
3 、In case of continuous disconnection of the temperature controller during normal use, it shall
be stopped immediately, and special maintenance personnel shall be notified for inspection
4 、The thermostat cannot be removed or shorted ，The thermostat cannot be disassembled or
short circuited, which will have potential safety hazards and carbon monoxide poisoning
5 、If the temperature controller is damaged, notify the professional maintenance personnel to
replace it, and the original accessories must be replaced
6 、Replace the thermostat as follows
⚫ Remove face shell
⚫ Remove the mounting screws of the thermostat
⚫Remove the connection terminal
⚫Replace the thermostat, connect the connecting terminal and install the fixing screw
⚫Install the upper shell

After replacing the new temperature controller, it needs to be tested again. If the flue is blocked,
the temperature controller will be disconnected within 5 minutes. This phenomenon makes the
temperature controller normal. The replacement inspection is completed

The thermostat cannot be removed or shorted ， If the

temperature controller is damaged, stop using it immediately and notify professional

 maintenance personnel to replace it. The original parts must be replaced

Method of drainage

1. Close the water inlet valve ② .

2. Please turn on all faucets (including those in the bathroom).
3 . Please unscrew the drain plug ③ at Water gas linkage valve

Preparation before reuse of drained machine

1. Confirm to remove the dry battery
2. Confirm that the gas valve at the lower part of the water heater is closed.

3. Please tighten the drain plug ③ at the water inlet interface

4. Please open the water inlet valve ②.
5. Please turn on all faucets (including those in the bathroom). Confirm that there is water flow
out and then close it.
6. Please install the dry battery
7. Please open the gas valve at the lower part of the water heater.
8. Hot water can be used.

Product installation
This gas geyser / water heater is only used for outdoor installation
1 、gas geysers / water heaters must be installed by qualified NG SA installers. If the gas-fired
geyser / water heater is installed by unqualified personnel, its warranty is invalid.
2 、Do not disassemble or refit the gas geyser / water heater in any way.
3 、gas geysers shall not be covered with any type of materials,Including but not limited to
plastics, textiles, paper, paperboard, etc.
4 、inflammables and explosives shall not be stored near the gas fountain.
5 、if it is no longer used within normal time, please ensure that the air source is turned off.
6 、 if any of the above instructions are ignored, carbon monoxide poisoning may occur.

7 、 before installation, please confirm whether the type of gas supplied to the water heater is
consistent with the type of gas shown on the nameplat

8、Similarly, whether the power supply voltage meets the requirements and whether the place of
use meets the requirements.
9、a chartered installation team and professional personnel with work license must be invited for
installation.
10 、please confirm whether the water heater you purchased is indoor or outdoor. Please do not
use indoor water heater Installed outdoors to avoid damage to the machine.

Installation site of water heater

⚫The water heater shall be installed in a
well ventilated place indoors. An exhaust
pipe must be installed at the flue outlet,
and the outlet of the exhaust pipe must
be set outdoors.
⚫Please do not install the water heater in the
cabinet, and do not install the water heater next
to curtains, furniture and other combustibles.

⚫It is strictly forbidden to install this ⚫Please do not install the water heater

⚫There shall be no other gas appliances near the installation position of the water heater
and around the exhaust port, and there shall be no inflammables and explosives around,
such as clothing, paper, wood, kerosene, etc.
⚫A space of more than 150mm shall be reserved on both sides of the water heater, and a
distance of more than 10mm shall be reserved behind the water heater to ensure the normal
operation of the water heater and facilitate the repair and maintenance of the water heater. It is
strictly prohibited to install the water heater in the hanging cabinet and closet.
⚫ It is not allowed to install the product on the wall that is easy to be heated

▲ IMPORTANT!
It is important that you take careful note of the cold water , hot water & gas inlets/outlet are
labeled. It is important that these be correctly connected.

1.Installation location:
⚫Space of over 1000mm above & 300mm
on each side of the geyser/water heater is
needed to be able to conveniently repair &
maintain the appliance
⚫The ‘flame-observing window’ must be
1.4m-1.6 above ground level
⚫Geyser/water heater shall be located at
least 500mm away from combustibles, gas
stove, electric appliances & electric wires.
⚫It shall be attached to fire-proof brick
wall using expansion bolts.

 Pipeline Joints

⚫The joints shall be G1/2 bolts.

⚫The gas input joint shall be equipped with a rubber air-proof underlay & the loose joint shall
be tightly closed.

⚫Before installation, the cold water inlet pipe shall be washed with water to check for
possible obstacles

⚫The water & gas supply pipelines shall be equipped with valves to ensure ease of
installation &maintenance

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

⚫Geyser/water heater to be installed outdoors only
⚫Open gas valve
⚫Open water supply valve
⚫Open hot water outlet valve, where installed.
⚫Open hot water tap
⚫Turn water rate adjustment knob to the lowest flow rate(clockwise)
⚫The unit will ignite & continue to run. If unit does not ignite, check water
pressure. ⚫To adjust water temperature turn to either ‘winter’ or ‘Summer’ setting
⚫Turn the Gas Rate Adjustment knob to either ‘Low’ or ‘High’

 ⚫Water Rate Adjustment Knob will also regulate the heat more water, lower
temperature ⚫In the event of the unit not igniting switch hot water tap off & on to re-
ignite.
⚫To avoid water freezing in unit in cold climates, switch off gas & water supply valve,&
open hot water tap, to drain system.

 ⚫In the event of water not heating up & ignition units is ‘clicking’, change the batteries.
Please ensure to use high quality batteries.

FOR YOUR SAFETY

If you smell gas

⚫ Close the gas valve

⚫ Extinguish all naked flames

⚫ Do not operate any electrical appliances.

⚫ Ventilate the area

⚫ Check for leaks as detailed in this manual.

⚫ If odour persists, contact your dealer or gas supplier immediately. Do not tamper with
the device.

Burn-Back(fire in burner tube or chamber)

In the event of a burn-back, where the flame burns back to the jet, immediately turn off the
gas supply at the control valve on the panel. After ensuring the flame is extinguished, wait for
one minute & relight the appliance in the normal manner. Should the appliance again burn-back,
close the control valve & call a service technician. Do not use the appliance again until the
service technician has declared it is safe to do so.

This appliance may only be installed by a registered NG Gas installer. registered

installers are issued with a card carrying their registration number. Ask to be shown the card
before allowing

The installation work to commence & make a note of the installer QCC number. Upon
completion of the installation the installer is required to explain the operational details of the
appliance together with the safety instructions. You will be asked to sign acceptance of the
installation & will be provided with a completion certificate. You should only sign for acceptance
of the installation when the installation is competed to your satisfaction. Note that you invoice is
required in the event that you wish to make a guarantee claim.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING

 REPAIR, MAINTENANCE & CLEANING

Products shall be regularly inspected and maintained by qualified personnel

⚫ Regularly clean the filter in the cold water inlet & clean off any deposits found around
the smoke discharge area.

⚫ Regularly check for leaks/breakages on the gas supply hose.

⚫ Regularly have a qualified gas installer to conduct a safety inspection of the

geyser/water heater & to ensure it is clear of obstructions to the burner & heat exchanger.

Contact a qualified gas geyser/water heater installer in the event of any malfunction
