8. Vaccination and tagging date for turkeys: July 17 & 18 5-7 p.m.
9. Hatch date for chickens: July 23
10. Tagging date for poultry (chickens, breeding stock, ducks, etc.): August 21 and 22, 4-7 p.m.
11. YQCA – still working on this, update to come
12. 2021 Fair Wrap-Up
a. Load out and barn clean up
i. Interested in the possibility of releasing breeding stock poultry on Saturday
night after market
ii. Storage issues – need to find a new home for benches and a better storage
system for turkey cages (will discuss with Fair Board)

c. Heritage turkey breeding stock – permissible.
i. It is permissible to take breeding turkeys and market chickens and vice versa,
just not both market.

e. Pullorum testing – could go faster if we have more testers, otherwise okay
14. Egg Judging – lots of eggs this year! Good location.
15. Show Day
f. Order for 2022 – showmanship, breeding stock, chickens (cockerels, pullets) then
turkeys (toms, hens)
g. Showmanship – dress code in fair book only applies here
h. Turkey show – no discussion
i. Pigeon class 14109 will be split into male and female
16. Auction
a. New flow for exhibitors to enter and exit the arena worked well
