What is work in your view? Besides money,

- [7]Basic parameters consist of quality control,
speed, client’s satisfaction, profit, and effective

(what could be done) or results (what has been
done). So, one can track the performance with
expectations or results (are we doing as well as
we think we should?), or conclude the
performance with results or expectations (did
we do as well as we thought we would?).
Questions & Responses Typist Remarks

Results and expectations are often determined

by a comparison with others or
one’s/someone’s idea of how it should be
done.[7]

You’re working with a professional. How do

you know they’re a professional? How
would you evaluate the quality of their
performance?

- [8]Usually they declare themselves as {8: Te;Vital;} IND VT-A: The answer sounds like
professionals, otherwise I will not know unless I a vague recollection of the past: how things

- If they perform the tasks quickly and smoothly

What are your activity levels like? What

- No to both fronts. In the aspect of activity I am

more active than most.[18]In the aspect of work

I am more selective about work conditions.
From talking to others, whilst they may want to
be occupied in things, they commonly want to
relax or do de-stressing activities to unwind
themselves, whereas I do not want to relax and
much prefer stressing activities. Again, talking
to others, people may have their qualms with
work, however they are much more likely to
compromise their standards in order to do
work, seeing that putting work above everything
else is more important. Whereas, I put my
standards above work, happily not doing work if
it means I don’t have to do terrible work. Also,
trivial or pointless work seems like less of an
issue for many, if we consider all the trivial and
pointless jobs existing right now.[18]

What does “logical” mean to you? Does it

match the normal view? How do you know
you are behaving in a logical way?

- No.[20]Most people view logic as a matter of
being right or wrong. People often can’t
comprehend that someone can be logical whilst
still being wrong or being illogical whilst still
being right. So, to them, logic is a result,
however logic is actually a process. Also,
people tend to judge others on whether they
are being logical or not if the logic matches
their own.[20]
- I know I am being logical when I am creating

Questions & Responses Typist Remarks

What makes hierarchies work? Why do they

have power over people and things? Is it
always necessary to follow them? Why or
why not?

their designated duties. There is teamwork and
cooperation, and there is also competition.
Competition allows better things to be produced
as people seek to outdo others as a means to
reap the benefits/rewards. Cooperation and
competition are both viable for their respective
reasons.[23]
- Hopefully the person in power is the one with
the most competency, expertise, or vision in
regards to micro or macro managing situations,
people, or objects. That being said, being able
to manage many people or tasks is a skill, and
so in a hierarchy you need someone with that
skill to make sure the operations of the
people/objects below are going well, for the
people below need to focus their attention and
efforts on the task itself.[22][24]It helps
distribute responsibility and resources when
you have people in different positions. If
someone can do that better than the current
one in power then they should replace them, it
is no good having an inept leader/manager.[24]
- [25]You shouldn’t follow a hierarchy if the
hierarchy itself is trivial or if the ones in charge
lack competency, expertise, or vision. In this
case you need to replace the ones in power. If
things are running smoothly without issue and if
the structures in place are sound then I see no
reason to not follow it.[25]

Socrates is claimed to have said: “I know

time. Semantically, it works as a sentence as

It’s more of a hyperbolic phrase to say “there’s
more out there to know, and I do not know

- [26]When people disagree with me I ask them

reaction is intrigue, wanting to know their logic
and stance on things, to see how it holds

What makes a system equitable or

inequitable? Should fairness be the primary

- [29]Systems are tools for ends, and so I think
fairness should be more of a standard and not
necessarily a goal i.e. it should be considered
within the process of creating the system and
how that would impact things. Though, when
you try to make everything comply with fairness

ways to control someone such as being caring

- [33]The usage can be justified as a means to

harmful to themselves or to make people aware
of the negative consequences of actions if they

disaster.[33]Pain and pleasure are basic
mechanics of a human, so pain (fear) does not
need to be inherently bad.

always the case these days).[36]
- [37]Money impacts people in all manners of
things, I would say it is the primary focus in all
things. It is hard to think of things without
money being involved. You could live and
survive without money, such as living off the
grid, however that would also cut off your

wanting to appear nice to yourself and wanting
to afford living and entertainment expenses, a
lot of the things seem trivial and not important.
To me, these people have simple minds and
are not independent enough, needing to live by
what others tell them is good, and then
projecting these standards onto
others.[53]Instead one should construct what is
good for themselves and live by that. My term

others to have a say on this.[54]Without desire
there is no self, and at that point I may as well

- [58]Life, from what we know, is a one time
event. You have it for a period and then it's
gone. Since your ability to experience is time
gated then to me it makes the most sense to
always try to live to your desires.[58][59]It is
very common for people to live by the desires
of others, even be successful (money), but then
later regret their choices of this. What are they
regretting? They are regretting they have
followed a path not enjoyable to them, they only
followed a path that met the standards of others
(see how this links in with my answer to the
previous question of projected
standards).[59][60]When you are old and on
your deathbed you have the greatest insight
into your life. Why? This is the point you realize
your worth/impact as an entity, everything has
come to this.[60][61]When you listen to people
on their deathbeds it is very common for them
to say stuff like "I wish I spent more time with X
instead of at my job" or "I wish I took that
opportunity up" or "I wish I quit my job and took
another".[61]Living by your desires solves two
major problems people experience in life: a)
feeling like you're a cog in the machine. b)
feeling regret for not doing something that you
wanted. When you are following the standards
of others then it is very easy to start feeling like
your individuality is not respected, that you are
not seen, and thus you feel empty inside in
regards to what you are doing. When you are
following the standards of others then it is very
hard to take on actions outside of this standard
without having consequences.[62]Now, there is
a difference between following standards
because you like them and agree with them,
and following standards because you feel
obligated to and hate them. Living by your own
desire is answering to the latter and not the
former. Again, since your time here is limited,
then I don't see why you should spend all that
time hating your time. Life should be good, not
bad. Yes there is bad that exists, but that does
not mean we should keep it bad.[63]By living to
your desires you are respecting yourself as an

individual and creating a new pathway that

suits you instead of following a pathway that
only brings misery.[62][63]

- [64]If you remove desire from yourself then {64: Fi;Mental;} IND MN-H: Consciously

what informs choices people make, if you have
no desire then you cannot form choices of your {65: Fi➔Ti;}

reproducing, etc requires desire. You see this
with people experiencing depression, a lack of
desire to do things. What happens? They fail to
act on basic survival needs, they take no
pleasure in things, they struggle to create
decisions for themselves. If you cannot make
choices of your own then you have no agency.
Without this agency then who is in control of
this body? We are robots without
desire.[64][65]

Transfers of Control
A transfer of control occurs when someone answers a question with another information
element.
This typically happens when:
1) A person moves from a function with low dimensionality to another with higher
dimensionality.
2) A person moves from the vital ring to the mental ring.

Correlation to Socionics Type

The table below serves to determine the most likely Socionics type of the subject.
For calculation of the table's fields the following algorithm was used. Each of the marked up
passages of the text is checked for accordance with the type model of the 16 types. If the
passage accords with a TIM model, then the Accord field for that model is incremented by 1. In
case of discordance, the respective Discord field gets incremented by 1.

The column “Correlation Factor” shows the normalized Correlation Factor which is calculated for
each type according to the formula:
Correlation Factor = NORM100(Accord/Discord)
This method is used to the most likely type, but does not list the likelihood of the subject being
any respective type.
