Using this Guide


The Participant Guide serves as a valuable reference material both during and after the
training session. This guide enables the participant to do the following:
Follow along with the Facilitator and identify key points on a topic.
Perform learning activities in class when prompted by the facilitator.
Use lab sections during lab sessions.
Take notes during interactive discussions and facilitator presentations.
Create a list of items in the Action Plan page to improve performance on the job.
Answer Review Questions that will reinforce information learned.
Identify reference sources for topics.
Use Job-Aids outside class to aid job-performance.

Accessing Reference Documents


The reference documentation in the Schneider-Electric Global Customer Support web site is
available free of cost to Customers.
Use the following steps to register with the Schneider-Electric Global Customer Support:
1. Open Internet Explorer and type the following URL:
http://support.ips.invensys.com/
The Schneider-Electric Global Customer Support page opens.

To register, click the Register option on the left-pane.
This opens the Global Customer Support User Registration page.

(Customers only) Enter the information in the required fields and click Register.
You will receive registration confirmation within the next few days.

Once you receive the registration information, log into the Schneider-Electric Global
Support Homepage, and click the SiteMap tab to view a layout of the site.

From the Documents column, navigate to select the required document.
You can also select the Documents tab to view the categories and navigate to the
