Prologue (Exposition):

Narrator: Jericho Tenorio escorts Mallari and the detectives in Fort Santiago. Doors opened, Civil Guard
holding a candle escort them to the interrogation chamber and orders Mallari to sit down on the Table.

(when Mallari sits down MUSIC PLAYS)

Lieutenant Tenorio: SIT DOWN FATHER!!!

Fr. Mallari: (sits down and laughs a bit) You have no idea what force you all are wrecking with.

Lt. Tenorio: SILENCE!!!!

Detective Manalo: FATHER, WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVE FOR THE ATTEMPTED MURDER OF
CLARITA EGUIA.

Fr. Mallari: (sighs) There are some things in this world that is // how should I say this // unexplainable // and
mysterious.

Detective Matibag: SPILL THE BEANS FATHER, IF YOU DON’T ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS, YOU
WILL BE EXECUTED VIA GARROTE. (in a cold tone)

Fr. Mallari: DEATH IS NO DISGRACE I am not afraid of death for all of you are foolish to be blind about
the truth regarding Clarita Eguia.

Detective Manalo: How can you say we are foolish??? Yet we are not informed about the truth. So, SPEAK
UP or do you want to take it the hard way?

(hits the table)

Fr. Mallari: Leonor Eguia is a witch practicing dark arts, it was necessary for me to eliminate her before the
dark forces take control of her body.

Detective Matibag: RIDICULOUS!!!! WE ARE NOT FOOLS THAT YOU CAN DECIEVE WITH SUCH
AN ABSURD AND RIDICULOUS STORY.

Fr. Mallari: THEN DON’T // IT IS UP TO YOU ANYWAYS, BUT IT IS REAL SHE CONSUMES THE
LIFE OF OTHERS TO PRESERVE HERS.

Detective Manalo: HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND??? I conclude this interrogation it seems like
FATHER MALLARI IS INSANE.

Detectives Manalo and Matibag and Lt. Tenorio: (Leaves the scene)

Narrator: After the interrogation in Fort Santiago, the detectives weren’t convinced with Fr. Mallari’s
answers and still haven’t found any trace and proper evidences to solve this case, they are eager to seek
justice but they have to find out Fr. Mallari’s motives.

Detective Matibag: This case is such a head scratcher. How can we even connect all of these, it doesn’t even
make sense. Who is the real victim and the real perpetrator?

Detective Manalo: Before we come up to a conclusion, we must first dig deeper into his account. He said
that Clarita Eguia bewitched his mother. We must uncover the mystery that surrounds his family.

Detective Matibag: That’ll definitely be a big of a help for us, for sure. Fr. Mallari probably has a reason for
his actions. I kind of agree, Clarita Eguia is indeed mysterious or we probably just lack the appropriate intel.

Detective Manalo: yeah, you’re right, we need to figure that out immediately. Let’s split the work in half, I
will investigate Fr. Mallari’s account and you investigate Clarita Eguia’s background.

Scene 1 (Flashback Scene)

Narrator: This scene digs deeper about the background of Fr. Mallari’s parents. Scene starts in Fort
Santiago, Detective Manalo interrogates Fr. Juan Severino Mallari about his family.

Detective Manalo: Father, who are your parents? What happened to them?

(Flashback Starts)

Clarita: Thank you so much guys for making this celebration for me! I want you all to know that I really
treasured the memories we all created here. I will surely miss all of you. Till we meet again.

Francisco: No worries, Clarita. Anything for you!

Victorina: I agree! Okay let’s not keep this long enough you might miss your trip.

Clarita: Alright, I’ll go ahead. I bid my farewells!

(flying kiss)

Narrator: After their farewell party, 7 years later.. Francisco and Victorina’s relationship with one another
became deeper and they got developed. They got married and had a son who’s currently in the seminary as
he aspires to be a priest one day

Victorina: Francisito, I’ll go ahead and visit our son in the seminary. Keep me updated with whatever you’re
doing okay!

Francisco: Of course, I will.

(Victorina leaves)
Francisco: What date is it today? OH RIGHT! Clarita is onboard going back home, I have to pick her up
good thing I remember the one she wrote on the letter. I have to hurry.

(exits)

Clarita: Hey! It’s good to see you again, How are you?

Francisco: I’m doing great! Me and my wife missed you so much!

Clarita: How come your wife missed me too? W-wait, WHO ARE YOU MARRIED TO?

Francisco: Oh my Goodness, you’re too late, you really have a lot to catch up on. Well, me and Victorina
have been married for quite a long time now and sadly she couldn’t join us today since she visited our son in
the seminary.

(Clarita was so shocked when she found out)

Clarita: HOOOLD ON, REALLY? This is too much to handle. I cannot process it yet. Anyways, want to go
somewhere? Missed hanging out with you!

Francisco: Sure! I’ll tell Victorina about this and-

Clarita: No, no, no, It’s fine she might be busy at the moment and she’s spending her time with your son
right, so just the 2 of us will do.

Francisco: Alright.

(walks around the stage while engaging in conversation)

Clarita: Thank you so much, Francisco! I missed you so much

Francisco: Anytime! See you again soon with Victorina next time!

Clarita: Uhm Ah Ah.. Okay

(Parts ways and Francisco heads home)

Victorina: AND WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

Francisco: I fetched Clarita and we bonded right after since she insisted to, I really wanted to invite you to
come with us but she said not to disturb your time anymore with our son

Victorina: SERIOUSLY? YOU’RE TELLING ALL OF THIS TO ME NOW? WHAT HAS GOTTEN
INTO YOUR MIND? HANGING OUT WITH OTHER GIRLS WITHOUT MY CONSENT?

Francisco: Calm down. Calm down. First, Clarita is not just “other girls” because if you forgot, she is our
best friend since then, and I thought you know that. Everything is purely about friendship nothing more and
nothing less.

Victorina: Ugh!! THIS IS NONSENSE! you already know-

(Victorina suddenly stops talking and lost consciousness as she falls off the floor)

Francisco: Victorina! Victorina Wake up! Somebody, PLEASE HELP ME!

(Clarita is just outside their house and witnessed everything that happened)

Clarita: Laughs Oh well, I casted the correct spell. That’s all over for the both of you now, I can finally have
Francisco alone! Goodbye Victorina!

(walks out)

Scene 2 (Prisoner Disappearance)

Narrator: This scene Detective Matibag hears about the mysterious disappearances of 3 prisoners in Fort
Santiago from a Civil Guard. She then Investigates and tries to uncover the truth. The conclusions shock her
as her conclusions say that the perpetrator is no other than Clarita Eguia and Fr. Juan Severino Mallari’s
statement starts to make sense. Detective Matibag rushes to Fort Santiago to warn the Lt. Tenorio and
Detective Manalo

Lt. Jericho: Detective Matibag! Officer Matibag! Come here! Hurry! Please! This is really urgent!

Detective Matibag: Woah! Woah! Woah! Chill out, calm yourself first and tell me what’s with panicking
and all.

Lt. Jericho: 3 PRISONERS HAVE ESCAPED AND THEY GOT OUT OF MY SIGHT. I quickly used the
restroom first and everything was secured. There were no chances of escaping, but when I came back, the jail
was unlocked and it seems like someone tried helping them since the door was left open

Detective Matibag: WHAAAT???!!? You literally had one job to look after them and what now, you lost
them? This is making things even worse

Lt. Jericho: I’m so sorry, but there’s no time to waste now, I’ll try my best to help you with the
investigation

Detective Matibag: Okay that’s better and much appreciated, I won’t tell this to my co-detective first since
she has so much to handle at the moment, we had just finished an interrogation with Father Mallari

Lt. Jericho: Is that so?

Detective Matibag: Yes, and also-

(While they were talking, they see someone running away very quickly)

Detective Matibag: LIEUTENANT LIEUTENANT! SOMEONE’S OVER THERE, CATCH THAT

PERSON RIGHT AWAY, NOW!

(Lieutenant runs and tries to go after that person but lost sight of the suspect once again)

Lt. Jericho: Officer, I’m afraid I lost the perpetrator once again

Detective Matibag: Oh great. But hey! I’m sure you were able to see the way she dresses and any other
physical features, right? Can you please describe her?

Lt. Jericho: Yes of course I did! She looks kind of weird, she doesn’t seem like a normal person at all, well
far different from how we look and act, she has a very long and straight hair and looks very creepy….

Detective Matibag: REALLY? Please tell me she’s wearing black; I already have someone in mind. It really
matches the description.

Lt. Jericho: YES EXACTLY, HOW DID YOU KNOW? you weren’t even there in the first place? Also I
found this piece of hair while I was chasing her, we could use this and test it to see if it matches that
“someone’s” DNA.

Detective Matibag: AAHH! AHH! AHH! YES! GOT IT! We had an interrogation with Father Mallari right,
and he kept on mentioning this lady named Clarita Eguia, right? and your description matches with his’ as
well! She’s been onto something ever since and she has a strong connection with Father Mallari that we are
yet to discover, I have to report this now. Thanks a lot, Lieutenant!

(Rushes to Detective Manalo)

Detective Matibag: Hey! Sorry for adding up to your pile at the moment but, we have a bigger problem. 3
prisoners have escaped and we almost got the villain but…we weren’t able to catch her and we literally saw
Clarita Eguia running away-

Detective Manalo: CLARITA EGUIA??!!? Isn’t she the one who’s behind all of Father Mallari’s answers?

Detective Matibag: Yes, yes, yes! She’s the one

Detective Manalo: We should tell this to Father, can’t believe she has the guts to go around our town if she
really is the real villain basing on Father Mallari’s statements, EVERYTHING IS SLOWLY MAKING
SENSE NOW.

(goes to father)

Scene 3 (Prepare for Battle)

Narrator: In this scene Clarita Eguia gets arrested and is detained at Fort Santiago. Detective Manalo and
Detective Matibag asks for the help of Fr. Mallari; Fr. Mallari aids the authorities. He analyzes the victim
and engages conversion but is disappointed for she is suffering from demonic oppression and demonic
obsession and is suffering. Fr. Mallari then proceeds to get an envelope from his pocket and reads it, it is a
letter from the archbishop of Manila allowing an exorcism to take place on Clarita Eguia.

Detective Manalo: Father, may we ask for your aid, you were right all this time, Clarita is under dark forces.

Detective Matibag: Clarita is currently under captive inside the cells and walls of Fort Santiago.

Fr. Mallari: I warned all of you, but first we must confirm if she is under demonic influence. Maybe it’s
just a mental condition she may be experiencing, we never know.

(They visit the cell of Clarita and Fr. Juan Severino Mallari engages in conversation with Clarita)

Fr. Mallari: Clarita are you awake? Clarita is the name, no?

Clarita: THE CLARITA YOU KNOW IS LONG GONE.

Fr. Mallari: Lord have mercy (Sign of the Cross), Clarita is indeed under demonic influence and possession.
Let’s go outside, we must prepare for this ceremony.

(all of them leave the cell)

Fr. Mallari: bow down your heads (raises his hand and recites the Breastplate of St. Patrick.)
Receive this holy oil and these sacramentals. (anoints them with oil)
Anoint them oh lord that they may be protected by your Precious Blood against the power of evil. (gives
them each a Medallion) We are ready, may God be our guide.

Scene 4 (Exorcism)

Narrator: Fr. Juan Severino Mallari performs an exorcism on Clarita Eguia while the Detectives and Lt.
Tenorio Assist him.

Fr. Mallari: Lieutenant, Detectives, hold her down.

(The detectives and Lieutenant Jericho holds her down)

Fr. Mallari: Let us begin, (Sign of the Cross) Amen. In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, Amen. Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered: and let them that hate Him flee from
before His Face! As smoke vanisheth, so let them vanish away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the
wicked perish at the presence of God.

Clarita: AHHHHHHHHH!!! (Body starts convulsing) YOU WON’T SAVE HER FA-FATHER FOR
YOUR GOD IS NOT PRESENT “deus qui es incommutabilis”

Fr. Mallari: God is always present in our Hearts, (Touches the Benedictine Cross in her forehead) DEUS
UBIQUI EST, (Continues the Exorcism Prayers)
Behold the Cross of the Lord, flee bands of enemies. The Lion of the tribe of Juda, the offspring of David,
hath conquered. May Thy mercy, Lord, descend upon us. As great as our hope in Thee. In the Name and by
the power of Our Lord Jesus Christ,

Clarita: AHHHH! Don’t speak of him (body convulses tries to hurt the Lieutenant and the Detectives)

Fr. Mallari: Give up, you can’t hurt them or me for we wear the armor of St. Patrick.
ASMODEUS, I ADJURE YOU IN THE NAME OF THE SPOTLESS LAMB, CHRIST COMMANDS
YOU, THE WORD MADE FLESH COMMANDS YOU, ASMODEUS, JESUS OF NAZARETH
COMMANDS YOU AND NOW I ADJURE YOU IN HIS NAME GET OUT OF THIS BODY AND STOP
TORMENTING HER SOUL!!! LORD HEAR OUR PRAYERS.

Precious Blood of the Divine Lamb.

Clarita: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, (Convulsions stop) What happened?

Fr. Mallari: My work here is done (leaves)

Detective Manalo: It’s a very long story but we’ll tell you a part of it so try not to be shock.

Detective Matibag: Well, you were somewhat possessed and Fr. Mallari performed exorcism for your sake.

(shock was evident on Clarita’s face)

Scene 5

Narrator: After the intense and petrifying battle between Father Mallari and Clarita, there was something we
all did not expect

Detective Matibag: What did we just witness and conquer

Detective Manalo: I SWEAR that’s literally insane, I wasn’t able to prepare myself for such instance…

Detective Matibag: We all weren’t. But atleast everything is done and solved now. That’s what matters the
most.

Detective Manalo: It has been a long day for all of us, we deserve to unwind and free up our minds after all
of these events

Detective Matibag: Absolutely.

Lieutenant: It was definitely a thrilling journey, but not gonna lie, I enjoyed your company.

Detective Manalo: And so did we!

Detective Matibag and Manalo: Till we meet again!

Scene 6 (Epilogue)

Detective Matibag: PHEW! That case made me sick; I literally cannot comprehend all of that

Detective Manalo: LITERALLY! everything was so unexpected, who would’ve thought that these
circumstances are possible

Detective Matibag: Up until this day, his case is known by loads of people and they’re really interested

Detective Manalo: Right. I remember how that interrogation made our headache so much, the confessions
were insane...

(Sighs heavily)

Detective Manalo: I think we deserve to celebrate after everything that's happened!

Detective Matibag: Drinks are on me! Should we get beer or just coffee?

Detective Manalo: Celebrating with coffee? Not gonna happen

(Both laughs)

Detective Matibag or Manalo: Let's just go

(walks away and the scene ends)
