To whom it may concern:

I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Julio Perez-Rosales as a student in my

Precalculus class. In class, I found Julio to be a mature and hard working individual who
showed a lot of growth and maturity as a student. The teaching approach we use in the class
is an inquiry based, student centered model. Julio responded to the nontraditional method by
not only working on becoming an active participant in his collaborative group but taking on
leadership roles in his groups as well. I routinely witnessed him confidently contributing his
ideas to a solution of a given problem while also assisting others in his group. Throughout the
year, he demonstrated steady improvements in his critical thinking skills, speaking skills as well
as working as a team in small groups. Julio has earned a 4.2 cumulative GPA which ranks him
the top 8% of his senior class.

Post Highschool, Julio plans continue his education in California university system and
pursue a helping law enforcement. His educational goal is to pursue a degree in either
biology, molecular biology, genetics or genomics which will be dependent on the university he
attends and the programs they offer. His career goal is to become a forensic scientist and
DNA analyst and opening his own company to contract out to different law enforcement
agencies.

On a personal level, I see Julio as someone who is not only kind and compassionate,
but also someone who is very goal oriented with a strong internal drive to achieve his goals. It
is because of these characteristics that I have no reservations in recommending Mr. Julio
Perez-Rosales to any program he applies for. He will be a strong asset to any group,
organization or institute he is associated with.
